Mile Diskovic developed the "Balkan-inspired melody" years ago at the piano. In bars or at after-hours as a spontaneous pianist. It was always well received. But without lyrics. The Swiss DJ and producer quickly sang them. It's about fate and karma. With a lot of tongue in cheek.

Mile Diskovic, our newcomer from Switzerland, was inspired by artists like Alex Union, The Doors, Damon Jee or Rick James. Musical influences such as psycadelic rock, disco, funk and the typical Balkan sound led not least to the first release on Evosonic Records. Karma Alarma" is all about the juxtaposition of fate and karma with a big shot of self-irony. I wonder if this has left its mark on the remixes. "Mar io" tackles the topic straightforwardly with a dominant bass drum. You almost don't notice that a 303 bassline is screwing its way into your brain via the auditory canal. "Kirill Matveev, the man behind Mixcult Records, makes it clear with his version why the cult label from St. Petersburg is one of the best in the world in the field of deep house. Deeper groove, playful percussions with a touch of Karma Alarma. Our next newcomer's remix sets the tone for more to come from him in the future. Cologne's "Oida Holz" brings Karma Alarma into techno heaven with 134 BPM and clear structures. There, more in the direction of "Driving" than "Hypnotic".
