One year ago Elisa Batti and Jorge Fons met up to record an improvised live set that started with the whole idea. We wanted to share something different; when you listen, you can feel fresh and new sounds, always with the view I have for Wabi Sabi, immersion. 

To give the album a full range of fresh and original sounds, Elisa and Jorge crafted five tracks that move from ambient to more minimal, beautiful and energetic music. And one of those tracks is an uncut slice of that improvised live set they recorded, spontaneous, exactly as it happened.

Yūgen is our invitation to dive in, notice the little surprises, and lose yourself in sound. We hope it feels as alive to you as it did during their live recording in the studio.

Japanese Techno pioneer Ken Ishii returns to Radio Slave’s Rekids Special Projects with the ‘Autopilot’ EP, arriving 22nd August 2025. It follows his first appearance on the label in 2023, where he collaborated with Dutch duo Kamara on the ‘Powerplay’ single.

‘Autopilot’ kicks oﬀ with an unsuspecting, rolling groove while playful synths sneak up and bounce oﬀ its rhythm. The trip continues with ‘Sunset Flight’, lush chords washing over deep, subby low-end, rising high before delving back into the background while delicious percs play between its pounding kick drums. Closer ‘Grid Bounce’ then returns to mischief, machine-like sequences tumbling over an unrelenting beat, excellently building pressure for maximum dancefloor wonk.

DJ and producer Ken Ishii is one of the founding artists behind the Japanese Techno scene, he debuted on R&S Records in 1993 and quickly rose to global acclaim, releasing on labels like Harthouse, Exceptional, and now Rekids’ RSPX oﬀshoot, while collaborating with artists like Jeﬀ Mills, who remixed Ishii’s 2019 ‘MOBÏUS STRIP’ album on U/M/A/A.

He is also the founder of the 70 Drums label, co-brewer of KIKK IPA, worked on theme songs for the 1998 Winter Olympics and the Japanese government for the 2005 World Expo, and continues to innovate through projects ranging from video game and anime soundtracks to collaborations with Jazz artists.

Zombies In Miami is a project created by Cani & Jenouise and despite the name they are not crawling around Miami, but shining out their light from Mexico. The couple became one of the most prominent members of Mexico's vital electronic scene over the last decade. You can call their sound a rhythmic and synth-driven house and techno hybrid.

Drawing deep inspiration from the city’s dynamic club culture, his music and DJ sets effortlessly traverse a wide array of genres, ranging from ambient and house to deep techno. KASIL’s artistic vision is centered around crafting an immersive atmosphere that not only captivates listeners but also lingers long after the music stops, setting him apart from the fast-paced and often aggressive trends of the mainstream scene.

The album includes 7 compositions, and it will familiarize you with newcomers mostly, though some of the authors are already well known to you.

This compilation turned out to be diverse, including dub, acid, groovy deep and even a little of breakbeat.
