Robot Says E is a meticulously assembled four-track compilation that connects the tactile groove of dub tech house with the lucid propulsion of contemporary techno. MixCult Radio Podcast # 189: Magic B - Nothing Serious (2017)

W is the much-anticipated debut album of Waage, a young & exciting Reykjavik-based producer. His debut EP offers a spacious, texturally intoxicating and hypnotic minimal techno – a journey through rhythmatic musical landscapes.

W1 is a ode to Basic Channel – a propulsive, yet delicate, mantra. The repetitive nature of it will take a hold of the listeners and project them into previously unknown state of mind. W6 is reminiscent of some of the finest works of legendary Icelandic techno producer Exos, who happens to be the mentor of this young up and coming artist. The whole EP is driven by curiosity and passion, and despite some obvious influences manages to offer something fresh and exotic for the adventurous music consumer.

Thule Records is considered by many to be a pioneers in the field of dub-influenced techno music and was a starting point for many of Iceland‘s most renowned electronic musicians.
