Next up on Industry Standard we have UK expat & New Zealand resident Dick Johnson.  Having been a mainstay on the House & Deep House scene for well over 2 decades he has released on labels such as Play It Down, Paper Recordings & Shaboom. His track ‘I Can’t Help Myself’ featured on our Industry Standard ‘Bits n Bobs Vol.1’ at the end of 2021, now we welcome Dick to the label for his first solo release on the label.

He’s delivered us a great 3 track EP featuring 2 versions of the title track ‘Into The Groove’, and ‘Get Up Now’ to finish it off. Make no mistake, these 3 tracks are all aimed squarely at the dancefloor, with pulsating rhythm sections, and enough disco licks to keep Studio 54 on fire. Definitive Recordings is thrilled to announce the reissue of an iconic deep house classic, “The Music” by Future Legends, a moniker of Austrian house and techno pioneer Clemens Neufeld. Originally released in 1996 as part of the Turn Me On EP, the timeless track has been remastered for this new release, bringing back the soulful sounds that helped define an era of house music.

Accompanying this reissue is an exciting new remix by Brazilian house music sensation Leo Janeiro.
