I began writing this song a year ago. I was feeling a bit down and wanted to escape to a sonic landscape. I wasn't sure where it would go, but I knew it would take me on a journey.

I returned to it this year while my cat, Bo, was fighting cancer. I knew it had to have a powerful ending, in her spirit.
