The Trial Chapter 7 Demo

Recorded live at the wonderful Midnight Sun Festival in Norway last summer, this was a one-off live performance of all my Australian material. It includes parts recorded during my trip across Australia from Perth to Sydney, up the coast to Noosa and back, as well as a later trip to Magnetic Island. Whole loads of field recordings were used for the first time for the performance which was especially composed for the festival.

Using only field recordings made in Waterford, Ireland for World Listening Day 18 July 2015 on the theme of H2O, an improvised concert using these recordings was performed in Hive Gallery on the same day as part of the event.

'Death to the Infidel' is a new occasional side project by Mick Shanahan who normally produces ambient under the moniker miXile.

An old performance of the Berlin material that over the next 12 months evolved into Berlin Alexanderplatz.

Of interest is that I performed this concert with a broken wrist and under the influence of morphine and red wine to ease the pain. The only time I have ever performed live while stoned.

It was also the first of many times that I performed live in Hive Gallery Waterford.

From a temporarily sidelined project concerning the nervous system, here is  Somatic Reflex Arc. There are two types of reflex arcs: the autonomic reflex arc, affecting inner organs, and the somatic reflex arc, affecting muscles. When a reflex arc consists of only two neurons, one sensory neuron, and one motor neuron, it is defined as monosynaptic. Monosynaptic refers to the presence of a single chemical synapse
