We're very excited to introduce everyone to our debut VA, which we aim to make an annual Summertime Charity VA on the label, and we are looking to release on our founder's birthday every year. This year we have taken the decision at Mixing Mates to match the proceeds to donate to a cause very close to our hearts: Indigo Gender Services, which is a partnership with LGBT+ Foundation and is a support group and community for trans and non-binary around Greater Manchester.

Welcome to the Mixing Mates Mixcast Series. Back with this months guest mix and it's from Strasbourg based DJ: TONX.

Discovering techno at 18 years after a dubstep period during a trip in Berlin, there was the declic of his life. TONX began his vinyl collection at that time. First raves in Paris and living in Bulgaria helped him to acquired a dark and mental side. Taking inspiration in the emotion, hypnotic and ambient tone thanks to artists such as SNTS and I Hate Models. After finishing his master degree and attending an unforgettable gig in a bunker, TONX fixed the goal to move into the root sounds of Detroit.

This mix combines 90's era, intense vocals, UK ravy and trance.

Because Dave Kelly is a legend, we managed to record sets from our event in Eastern Bloc on 28th April 2023. 

We have managed to salvage 75 minutes of WeeDot.'s set which was built up on her usual Acid, Prog and Tech sound (and as always - there is a special appearance from J.Lo in there!). Few table bumps, record skips, fuzz and a couple of dodgy transitions - but that's what makes all vinyl sets the buzz that they are >> the imperfections as well as the on-point sections!! Graberg a.k.a. Gergo Grabicza is a Bournemouth, UK based, Hungarian underground electronic music lover and analyzer. 

In his ages of 18-19 he started to show interest deeply to the underground scene and explored Detroit, Berlin, Electro, Electroclash and Minimal sounds. The most important artists who inspired him were Maceo Plex (especially with his Maetrik alias), Gui Boratto, Radio Slave and UMEK. 

A versatile DJ, his musical selection is unique with a slowly blending style from deep, cosmic, tech house and dark disco sounds to heavier but emotional techno and electro elements, spiced up with analog drums and percussions to take the audience to an amazing journey in underground electronic music.
