We're very excited to introduce everyone to our debut VA, which we aim to make an annual Summertime Charity VA on the label, and we are looking to release on our founder's birthday every year. This year we have taken the decision at Mixing Mates to match the proceeds to donate to a cause very close to our hearts: Indigo Gender Services, which is a partnership with LGBT+ Foundation and is a support group and community for trans and non-binary around Greater Manchester.

Our Summertime21 VA includes 4 tracks from upcoming UK artists:

First up we have Glasgow based Anna Gram, who some of you may know as being 1/2 of the amazing Lezzer Quest, or maybe you know her from being a long standing resident at the great Glasgow party 'Shoot Your Shot' run by the other 1/2 of Lezzer Quest: Bonzai Bonner. Also, more recently Anna Gram has released an amazing 4 track EP with Hammer's imprint Remmah called 'Celestial Objects'... For us, she has created a techno meets electro dance floor filler in the form of "Multiverse".

Second on the VA and is from Manchester based Muddy Feet. Resident of one of the city's most loved club nights 'Sticky Heat', always bringing a great atmosphere to the floor. No different here, with her track "Take It All In" which provides the most exciting energy to your ears.

Next up we have Belfast based CHARLI. With a spectacular release on Spilt Milk as well as recently creating a track for the 'MINDS' charity VA, we're really happy to have him on board here at Mixing Mates. CHARLI has gifted us with "Can You Feel It" which is a lovely house track, that provides the most perfect warm feeling through your body.

Last up, we have local lad Metzler, who has created a smooth minimal track for us to end on. Up n coming and we can't wait to hear more... Keep your ears peeled over the next year!

Welcome to the Mixing Mates Mixcast Series. Back with this months guest mix and it's from Strasbourg based DJ: TONX.

Discovering techno at 18 years after a dubstep period during a trip in Berlin, there was the declic of his life. TONX began his vinyl collection at that time. First raves in Paris and living in Bulgaria helped him to acquired a dark and mental side. Taking inspiration in the emotion, hypnotic and ambient tone thanks to artists such as SNTS and I Hate Models. After finishing his master degree and attending an unforgettable gig in a bunker, TONX fixed the goal to move into the root sounds of Detroit.

This mix combines 90's era, intense vocals, UK ravy and trance.

Welcome to the Mixing Mates Mixcast Series. Where we will be bringing you a mix from, in our opinion, some incredibly talented selectors. Up this week, we have a mix from Manchester based duo and party lads: Quadrant Soundscape.

QS is the joint mind of Tommy Harrison and Wilson Logan. These guys together are brilliant, and we're huge fans of them here at MM. Forever tuning into their dubby sounds and exploration of imnimalist, ambient and deep soundscapes when they do their 2-3 hour livestreams across facebook (@QuadrantSoundscape). We are also big fans of their Dub Exploration shows which you can find on MixLR.com and the more House side to the duo when they present Detroit Experiment which you can catch on their Soundcloud.

In this mix, with the current times being so bleak, the guys have created us an uplifting mix full of loads of Detroit House to keep your spirits going whilst we're all trying to stay positive in isolation. So grab a beer, or a wine, get out in some fresh air and get this mix on loud!!
