Info: Take Your Time – EP is a five-track showcase of bass-heavy versatility from New
Zealand’s Unwell, blending UK bass, garage, 2-step, and jungle; it moves from
shimmering grooves to peak-time club pressure — built to work in any setting, from
the rave to the lounge.
Produced in Wellington, the EP opens with the title track Take Your Time, a
shimmering, swing-heavy garage cut, followed by two distinctive remixes: producers
Joku deliver a forward-moving flip, while Ukrainian artist Lostlojic adds a smoky,
atmospheric edge.
Disco Take switches gears with a playful jungle-meets-disco fusion, before Tamaki
Makaurau based AndWahn closes the EP with a driving club remix built for peak-time
energy.

Released on Washington’s Sound Transitions, Take Your Time – EP is a cross-
continental journey in groove; born in Wellington but shaped by influences and talents

from across the world. It’s a celebration of bass culture’s international spirit.

Kassian return to Faux Poly after 3 years, marking a new chapter for both the duo and the label they founded. In that time Faux Poly has carved out its own identity, supporting a tight roster of

Locked / Ghost Dub keeps things direct. Both tracks are born from hardware, staying true to Kassian’s process while leaving aside any overarching concept. Instead, this is their most direct statement yet; functional, raw, and made for DJs. Locked is a bass-driven breakbeat track with a distinctly UK flavour, atmospheric, spacious and designed for a real soundsystem. Ghost Dub shifts into faster warehouse territory; a breaks cut that nods to 90’s rave while keeping the focus on immediacy and impact.

Berlin-based, Toronto-born multidisciplinary artist @jenniferloveless drops a trio of full-bodied house delights on @ausmusic with 'Fever', exploring late-night depth and raw peak-time sounds.

'UUP', takes a grittier turn from the opening track, drawing on influences of the early '00s golden era of tech house - a weapon tailor-made for sweat-drenched moments under low lights.

ZDBT delivers the EP’s most striking moment: a sleek and deep techno-fuelled reimagining that refracts Club Designs’ Detroit electro roots through a 4x4 lens.

The Feel It EP marks the debut of both Whitehill and DS94 on QRUK, bringing together two fresh takes on the same idea. Whitehill's Feel It is a funky Electro track built around deep repeating rhythms and a nostalgic 80s style vocoder. All the while delivering a futuristic EP with nothing but flava and NRG. Easily paired with Whitehill's On The Beat, to form two of our favourite cuts from this years schedule.

Over to DS94 who flips the title track into a much harder Phonk/Techno style, taking the electro foundations of the original and pushing them into darker territory. Heavy kicks, gritty percussion and distorted textures run against the off beat bassline to create a really raw version. Together, the two tracks form a bold introduction for both artists on QRUK, fusing Electro and Techno with a rave ready edge.

I was in the middle of our US tour in Los Angeles last year and got asked to remix one of the biggest acts in the world - Coldplay - so I locked down for a couple of days (into my manager's house) and here is the result. The original is such a summer jam I wanted to take it into a different territory. Support so far has been incredible, hope you like it!
