This debut soon led to a follow-up single, ‘Memento’, proved to be one of her biggest-selling tracks and was added to the ‘Best of Factory 2023’ compilation alongside artists like Space 92, Nicole Moudaber, Jay Lumen, POPOF, and many other techno giants. 

On the back of an ever-expanding accomplishment list, Shay has been managing a busy tour schedule. She made her first appearance at the legendary Sisyphos Berlin, closed out the night next to Space 92 at Superior Ingredients NYC, and joined Eli Brown on 4 sold-out tour dates throughout the west coast. 2024 will kick off with her headlining various dates in the US and Europe, including an appearance at Beyond Wonderland.

Named by Beatport’s Beatportal as ‘techno’s new queen’, the world will only be seeing more of De Castro in the near future.

sunflwr produces dreamy house music for the dance floor, living room or late night drive. Originally from the San Francisco Bay Area, Lucas Hanson grew up playing bass and piano. He began exploring electronic music in his late teenage years with influences from artists like the Gorillaz, Little Dragon & Bonobo appreciating the blend between the avant-garde, an indie aesthetic and pop. Hanson studied music in New York falling in love with the house music scene there. He began to DJ and produce with a new focus on uptempo songs. After graduation and moving to Los Angeles in 2017 the artist took a hiatus from consistent musical output getting lost in a new career in tech and adjusting to the new changes in life. Striking up a new connection to his artwork and a daily commitment to produce Hanson rediscovered his love of music and personal expression through it. The music started pouring out as ‘sunflwr’ in 2020 in high output.
