FERMA012 is up close and personal to the Athenian scene. Label co-runner, Morken unveils a diverse 4-tracker infused with an immersive blend of intricate breakbeats, heavy low end and gritty vocals. Remix duties from two staple personas of the local scene, DJ Problems and Fragedis, who are hitting the spot once more.

DJ Problems is one of the driving forces behind Fade Radio, a community-based radio in Athens that is ever-growing, and has recently launched his own label named Street Fighter Honda with a fantastic VA full of surprises. He is also known for his productions as Bekha Mujiri on labels such as Abstract Reality & Meta Moto.

Fragedis has been a consistent presence for more than 15 years, with releases on legendary labels like Modal Analysis & Pi Electronics among others. He co-runs Healthy Summer, an iconic festival in Sougia, Chania, which has hosted the likes of Delta Funktionen, Alienata, Sawf and ANFS just to name a few.

'BOOR' is a collaborative EP between WOMEN*S PRODUCER GROUP founder @bex_dj and former alt-j member @user-507575380 (LOOR). Taking inspiration from the game 'Consequences', each producer started a track and then handed it over to the other to take in any subsequent direction.

Fellow Bristol producer @boulderheaduk is on remix duties for the title track ‘7am Sessions’, bringing his signature bouncy electronic goodness.

Enveloping pads, skittered drum fills, ethereal vocals and deep subs make up ‘I Don’t Miss You’, creating a warming hazy feeling that wraps around you. Memphis Glass’ take is an unhurried house cut that strips the track back to its core and meticulously builds it back up again.

Faux Poly welcome Nottingham-based producer Jack Wright aka Croft / @croftsound to the label family with his latest offering 'Worktops,' a set of heavyweight club tools spanning Techno, Electro and Bass.

Having previously released on Scuffed Recordings, Left Right & Centre & MNSHN Records among others, Croft has carved out his sound by extracting unpredictable and undeniably unique melodies and grooves from generally atonal hardware experiments. The result is a beautifully leftfield, groove-focussed EP that’s rooted in Techno with traces of classic Electro mixed with a solid contemporary UK Bass sound.

Words from Croft:
"Titled 'Worktops' as an homage to my setup from when I was in between studios, setting up my hardware on my kitchen table. I used to have to alternate between which bit of equipment to have set up on the limited table space. The EP covers all my influences and production styles with the Midland-esque swampy techno, lots of swung drums and intricate percussion, weirdish modular basses and textures, and electro-tinged 80s inspired cheesy riffs/melodies. Dedicated to long days and nights making music on the kitchen table, longing for a studio space, it's stripped back yet full, crafted with a club focus."
