Here's the mix I compiled as entry into the Hannah Wants UK DJ search.  The mix is split into two 30 minute sections - one a warm up set, the latter a peak time set.  

There's a right range of tracks in this mix.  I've tried to express, particularly in the second part, how I love to play out whilst also offering something different to the tour, which is the ultimate prize.  Would love to get something out of this and always put a lot of time and care into all my mixes so I hope you enjoy ;)

In the middle of a worldwide pandemic the 2020 Ibiza season hangs in the balance and because of that I spent hours reminiscing and diving into old hard drives to find music with memories from my ten years in Ibiza to make Mixtape 0520 a special edition, Ibiza Feels... 

Having started my bi-monthly mixtapes back in 2012 Mixtape 2019 marks the NINTH year of my mixtape series! I started pushing mixtapes NINE YEARS ago, that's kinda madness! What a journey these nine years have been.

To the people who have been listening since day dot, to the people who have only just started listening and everyone in between thank you! My mixtape's are my 80 minute journey of music, my way to explore, express and share my passion. From all sub genres of house music to my outro's which usually go deep and downtempo, another kind of music I listen to religiously.

This mix contains 18 tracks that I'm feeling and as always from a variety of genres. I'm rinsing some of these bangers on the dance-floor right now and the others I'm just absolutely in love with.

Searching for the music and then making them literally takes me days and days but mixtape making is something I really love to do. I hope you enjoy them as much as I love making them!

Arguably enjoying the most prolific artistic form of his life, Defected presents MK In The House is, somewhat unbelievably, his first ever mix compilation and provides a snapshot of where he currently sits; a two mix project taking in Lana Del Ray, Dusky, Jamie Jones, FCL, Huxley and Kings of Tomorrow, as well as a handful of exclusive MK remixes. 

Defected presents MK In The House showcases a hand-picked selection of records both new and old. Rather than aiming for different vibes on each of the two discs, the Detroit DJ has recorded one long session that was simply split in two.  “A lot of my DJ friends, I thought they did their mixes and podcasts live, but a lot of them use Ableton” he admits.  “This was the first time I did it that way and it was pretty cool for me.”

In addition to the two studio mixes, the release includes 10 additional MK releases and remixes, from 4th Measure Men ‘Given’ to his recent remix of Inner City’s timeless ‘Future’.
