Our fourth guest, Auspex, organizes the queer party ALTÆR, with 5 years of debauchery at BASEMENT, and runs the Oath label as an outlet for his production since 2019. His sound is distinctly haunting, though on the dancefloor he is nothing but warm.

We recorded this season of Center Booth on the grand sound system from our rave in September. We needed to make amends with our neighbors after Auspex shook the building for an hour straight. His selections here represent a quintessential performance of his signature hypnotic sound that moves dark, sweaty dancefloors.

'Ixona' is the second LP from Chicago composer Conor Mackey under his @lynyn alias on @sooperrecords. Crafted primarily with hardware, Lynyn's instrumental compositions draw on dub-techno, drum and bass, and acid.

As intricate breakbeats skitter through granular textures and pointillist swarms, 'Ixona' is both  vastly spacious and startlingly intimate. On 'Light Morph', wistful voices list against jagged breaks.

Seoul's Mount XLR (@kwangjaejeon) is a master at sculpting samples and sounds in a way that makes his music feel 3D — a throbbing entity, gritty and alive. On his new EP, 'Phase i', via @sound-supplyservice, he's deeply influenced by UK music - particularly bass, post-dubstep, and garage.

The six-tracker closes with 'Codrington Bounce', a cut partly produced in London that ties together the record’s dual energy and brings the narrative full circle.

Tom Sprenger is a Munich-based DJ, producer, visual artist and the founder of Terra Magica Rec. and part of the duos Listensport and Hektisch Sprengen. His sound blends psychedelic, analog club vibes with hypnotic, trippy atmospheres.

Dealing Energy refracts light into deep colors and pulses; a fortress for the spirited and unconventional.

Across six tracks, a dream unfurls into sound – patterns emerging like scattered water droplets, a flowing dance of chance and texture.
