Leading UK dancehall MC Mr Williamz is about to release a new album. 

After regularly toasting on the famous Mungo's HiFi soundsystem and releasing a string of excellent vocals via cult reggae label Necessary Mayhem, the London lyricist will drop a full length on February 4.

US artist Danny Daze, out of Miami, has long been affiliated with the more electronic side of dance music. From the early days in the electro scene and more abstract forms of techno, the Omnidisc boss has covered a lot of musical ground since then. Helping to reimagine the underground landscape, Danny was pivotal in the early 2010s club sound with releases on Hot Creations, Ellum Audio, and Kompakt. He soon turned his attention back to the obscure side of the dancefloor and IDM. As much a music lover and dancer as he is an artist, he knows exactly what works on the dancefloor and his recent album “::BLUE::” on his own Omnidisc imprint exemplifies this ethos. It’s been some time since we last featured a back-to-back set in our beloved mix series, and episode 167 comes to make up for it. Recorded live earlier this year at Venue MOT during a fundraiser for Medical Aid for Palestinians, the night brought Will Hofbauer and Zaltsman together on the decks, weaving a seamless journey of deep grooves, vibrant rhythms, and euphoric energy. This edition perfectly captures the spirit of the event - a celebration of music, solidarity, and community united for a meaningful cause.
