Translation Recordings’ ninth digital release features a pairing of tunes from St. Petersburg, Russia-based producer Nuage, whose smooth and sophisticated sound is guaranteed to make an impression on those who crave dancefloor vibes with depth and character.  On “Different Places,” Nuage applies the signature 2-step/garage shuffle and vibe at drum&bass speeds to deliver a fresh arrangement where warm, analogue low-ends blend with echoing chords, strings, and rnb/soul vocals.  Meanwhile, the more energetic “Nothing Certain” springs into action with punchy, stepping drums that dance along to a lush and meticulously crafted atmosphere where a vocoded chorus ebbs and flows into rhodes keys, analogue synths, and glitchy electro-influenced edits.
