Although not much is known about Birmingham-based producer Tsunga, he has got the support of Hyperdub affiliate Scratcha DVA. 

Uploading a steady stream of bass-fuelled, techno-based tracks to his SoundCloud over the last year, including 'Coewd' on Ukrainian imprint Nicz Records, he recently received the thumbs up from B.Traits with the hectic 'Feisar'.

Some tracks were built to rattle the glass in Berghain, the kind that makes you forget where your friends went or if they even exist at all. This new dish from 1/2 of the Analogue Cops and Restoration Records boss Marieu and Berlin newcomer Manella is that pneumatic techno at it's best. When not beating 909s, the duo apparently like to eat in the park (how quant). Ladies and gentlemen, we give you the first release from PicNic34 (although musically I don't get the vision of red checkered blankets in the sun).

Among all the untold trends that rise and fall in house and techno, Kompakt just keeps on keeping on; always varied, but held together around an unending flow of incredibly pure, incredibly powerful, elemental dancefloor forces. It's also a constantly collaborative venture, its core artists constantly combining and recombining to keep the basic template fresh, and here we're very happy to see two of the label owners Michael Mayer and Reinhard Voigt (younger brother of the mighty Wolfgang) on a split release. Mayer's track is, surprise surprise, an absolutely classic Kompakt banger.
