This album is like a journey through space and time, where cosmic and natural forces mix together in a dance of rhythm and energy. It is inspired by the universe and all the different life forms that exist in it, and looks at the deep connection between what we can see and what we can't, the physical and the spiritual.
The music feels like a journey through space and time, with beats that are both earthy and otherworldly. It speaks to the invisible forces that connect everything in the universe, from the rhythmic beats that echo through space to the natural flows of life that move in sync with the natural world. Each track is like a window to a different world, inviting the listener to explore the mysterious, the unknown, and the infinite possibilities that lie just beyond our reach.The music combines large sounds and deep rhythms to create a picture of energy, nature, and the universe. It invites you to lose yourself in its waves, which go from moments of stillness to bursts of intensity, reminding us of the ever-present pulse of life that connects us all.

Exploring the water engineering relationship between Japan and the Netherlands across a trilogy of experimental releases, the third and final part of Field Records' Waterworks series is courtesy of Yui Onodera. Pairing delicate synthesis and instrumentation with field recordings and negative space, the accomplished artist and sound architect examines the impact of water engineering on Japan's Kiso Three Rivers. 
 
The location refers to the confluence of the Kiso, Nagara and Ibi rivers on the Nōbi plain in Gifu prefecture. In the late 19th century, Japanese authorities collaborated with Dutch engineer Johannes de Rijke to separate the three rivers at the lower part of the Kiso delta. These extensive improvements, which were finalized in 1912, successfully shielded the city of Nagoya from regular flooding.
 
Onodera's minimalist palette and detailed approach to spatial sound design balances microscopic field recordings and tonally-rich traditional instruments, which he applies with stark focus to the subject of the Kiso Three Rivers across eight extended pieces of music arranged into two distinct parts. The A side's shorter tracks are delicately sculpted miniatures interweaving chiming bell tones, treated guitar impressions and hushed pads. The B side's two longer suites are more overtly minimal in nature, emphasising sampled water sources accented with patient brush strokes of synthesis. 
 
This project is supported by the Embassy of the Kingdom of the Netherlands in Tokyo, Japan.

Since residing in Berlin her style of classic techno, house, electro and braindance can easily be identified in her studio productions and DJ sets. Her collaborations with DJ Sotofett are regularly released on Tresor Records and WANIA, while her solo productions and remixes have been released by Counter 99, Emotional Response, Freakout Cult, Sex Tags Ufo and DFA. Octo Åeterna is a producer and DJ deeply embedded in the darker edges of electronic music. With roots in South America's underground, he's spent years fine-tuning a sonic identity that draws on mathematical structures, probability, and organic chaos. His work, solo and through his Technologia Organica label, explores textured psychedelia, often grounded in nature's strange logic. Releases on Danza Nativa and his imprint showcase a careful but adventurous mind, balancing abstract sound design with dancefloor weight. Whether curating Noctambula nights or crafting vinyl releases, Octo's aesthetic is precise, immersive, and alive with intent.

His "Delayed with…" mix is a live recording from Berlin's legendary Tresor that happened in June 2023, and it plays like a transmission from a parallel biome. It begins in murky waters, ambient textures that ripple and curl like oil on a dark tide, then gradually locks into a loose-limbed, halftime pulse. Octo leans into polyrhythmic percussion and deep, sticky synths, shifting between grooves with surgical control. As the set evolves, four-to-the-floor rhythms rise like tectonic plates, grinding under a thick atmosphere. By the end, he cracks the structure open with broken beats and UK-leaning breaks, closing on a haunting and strangely euphoric note. It's a mix that mutates without losing shape, like watching an alien ecosystem reorganize in real time.
