I do connect a lot of memories to this legendary track produced by Sascha Funke in 2008. It has been played by countless great artists and was featured in Berlin Calling with Paul Kalkbrenner. Even through I produce and play Melodic Techno I have a passion for pure Techno with a dark vibe but still emotional. I gave Mango a Melodic retouch to include it in my sets. Dwson (pronounced Daw-son) is a young Capetonian producer, and one of the most sought- after electronic artists in South Africa at the moment. Effortlessly breathing new life into the local deep house scene with his  dubbed-out sound, Dwson sets a clear vision, with  diverse and refreshingly distinct ways that refuse to be tied to one style of house. Thus far he has taken stages at major events such as, consecutive Cape Town Electronic Music Festivals, Oppikoppi, RedBull Music Academy, ULTRA, Rocking the Daisies, Synergy and Design Indaba to name but a few. His latest offering, the Glimpses Of You EP released in February 2019, boasts 3 stunning vocal features in folk favourite Dumama, guitar-wielding  Roxy Caroline and his ever present muse, Sio, as well as one instrumental track,  reminding all who listen that his slick, clean productions are unlike anything we have previously heard.

We go back in time for 10 years, to a well known club in Berlin, where I celebrated the 10 Years Anniversary of my label CLR, and guess what - also played for 10 hours. Can´t believe that this is already 10 years ago really. Still kind of remember that night/day very well, especially the magic moments during the party and also especially at the end, when I played that DJ Hell track. With me on that night playing were Traversable Wormhole, @sanhajimastering Brian Sanhaji, @tommyfourseven_47 and @monoloc_official  until I finished off the night/day with my closing set. These are memories that are ingrained in my brain and I surely hope we can soon do this again. So this week it´s the fourth hour of this set. All the rest will be coming on a weekly basis, as you all know by now I guess.
