TRTD is a fundraising platform from War Child UK supporting children affected by conflict through collaborations with the dance music community.

The dance floor has long represented a sanctuary for groups of all backgrounds and interests; a place where community, freedom, identity, self-expression is nurtured, without fear of recrimination. These shared values are at the heart of War Child's work in creating safe spaces for children impacted by conflict, where childhood can be reclaimed, and where simple pleasures like laughter, playing and dancing can be rediscovered.

Continuing War Child’s 25 year heritage working in music, TRTD celebrates this universal connection through original content, events, merch and rewards powered by the dance floor. 

Donate from £3/month to access, while also supporting War Child’s urgent work improving the lives of children in war-affected areas like Afghanistan, Central African Republic, DRC, Iraq and Yemen.

Kahn - Guest mix for Cameo [broadcast live on Radio 1xtra 10/2/15]

Recorded during Electrum Up To Date Festival 2023: Secret Location, this recording shows how the artist masterfully combines his signature sounds with subtle, pulsating rhythms and dub textures, creating a spacious, meditative atmosphere. Commodo's set proves minimalism and precise selection of sounds can be just as engaging as dance beats, offering listeners a moment of respite and reflection in the world of sounds.

Hailing from South London, the producer and DJ has been a leading figure in electronic music since the early 2000s, who as part of the legendary DMZ crew and label, pioneered a genre rooted in sound system culture – a genre we know now as dubstep.

In 2006, Mala founded his label @deep-medi-musik as a platform for more experimental releases. It has remained a vital force in underground bass music, with a roster of artists including Kaiju, Silkie and Goth-Trad.

Twenty years since Mala first made his mark on the scene, his influence is as strong as ever. For this episode of Carhartt WIP Radio, the legendary producer and DJ created a mix featuring tracks from the DEEP MEDi vault, alongside some new releases. The mix is accompanied by an interview, as Mala discusses the duality of art and science in music-making, his ethos of “building” sounds, and the significance of an artist’s story in their work.
