Here is a set I had a lot of fun putting together. Amapiano music has taken over the mainstream music space with a bang and it deserves this spot. With catchy percussion and rhythmic arrangement as well as hypnotising bass lines, it's hard not to move when the tunes come on. In an ode to this genre and to Afro house, the team at We are United have curated a new show dubbed 'Amapiano to Afrohouse' on BBC 1 xtra and BBC sounds app.

This is my set for the show. It's a mashup of the latest tunes from fire artists such as Kamo Mphela, Focalistic, as well as some old favourites from ThakzinDJ and kuduro bangers 'Pedicure' by Nadio Dance and much more.
