Jeigo aka London based producer Jack Carr Miles, comes through with his debut LP “Cerulean”, which is due for release on the 15th of August 2022 on air miles.

Written between 2020-2021, “Cerulean” is a ten-track album that delves into the isolation of the emotion, blue. The tracks flow between UK genres, combining sliced breaks, emotive melodic synths and deep pulsating low end to audibly display Jeigo’s intricate and melancholic production qualities.

“Over the period this was made, this project was the epicentre for my emotional stability and creative output, allowing me to find some comfort and calm in the tough moments of isolation that 2020/21 brought. Dedicated to my Dad and his best friend Roger” - Jack Carr Miles

Taking influence from the likes of Four Tet’s “Beautiful Rewind” and Everything But The Girl’s “Walking Wounded”, the album was produced in his former family home in South West London during the pandemic and finished in his home for the last two years in Peckham. Each track sits on the border of home listening and club functionality, with essences of crying on the dance floor euphoria, too those blissful or challenging moments alone.

Bristol-based producer & visual artist @akoneaudio presents his second EP 'Going Home'. Through this four-track journey, AK-One explores the more introspective side of electronic music, submerging listeners in downtempo, emotive waters ranging from 80-105 BPM.

On this release, 50% of all profits will go toward PAPYRUS, a suicide prevention charity based in the UK.

[TRUST41] REPTANT - halls of perception [out october 2022]

Her mind was neither here nor there today; everything had become a big mush of half-finished tasks, immediate deadlines and last minute responsibilities. Trying to put them into some kind of decipherable order was a task in itself, one that would require an amount of focus and concentration that she couldn't muster up at this precise moment. For now, her thoughts would have to remain a tangled web, a scramble of words and memories all chucked in the blender and jumbled beyond recognition. 

Hot on the heels of a release from label boss Furious Frank, Adelaide-based label Mind Dance call on the skills of a veteran of the Australian electronic music scene, Andy Rantzen. Active since the early 90s, both solo and as part of the duo Itch-E and Scratch-E alongside Paul Mac, the Sydney hailing producer follows releases for the likes of 4-4-2 Music, Efficient Space and Ken Oath with Return To The Source, a seven-track album of recordings made between 1997 and 2020. Crafted using his hardware set up, the music is raw, stripped back, deep and percussive, touching on machine funk, electro and house.

Rico Casazza was born in Milan, Italy, moved to London when he was 19 years old, and lived there for about 20 years, until he decided to move to Prague, Czech Republic. Rico is a prolific producer, DJ and live act, who has released around two dozen EPs, several albums and plenty of remixes since he started to produce electronic music in 2017.

Rico’s new EP with the title “Escandon” is coming out on Paul Fleetwood’s label Perimeter Junk. While staying connected to his electro and techno roots, Rico Casazza has chosen a more pop-oriented approach on his new release.

“Backstage Segment” is a bright-sounding track with complex rhythms created through smart interaction between synth sounds and drum rhythms.

The title track, “Escandon” is a bit more laid-back, with a nostalgic and melancholic sound. Through sampling the vocals of a female R & B singer, Rico creates a cool and chillout piece of electro pop.

“Seven days” is a lovely electro track with an almost Drexciya-esque vibe and tight drums, deep pads, arpeggiated synths and again very complex rhythms, which makes it a fun track to listen to in every detail.

“Word Fail Someone” has a nostalgic, soulful sound with a hammering bassline and drum section which give the track a strong drive, which creates an interesting contrast against the more relaxed melodic elements in the piece.

“Twozerofour” is an electro/techno track which showcases Rico Casazza’s talent for producing ambient soundscapes. The pads, arpeggiated synths and leads create a trippy and spacey sound together as if “Twozerofour” would be part of a sci-fi movie. It will take both home listeners and dancers on a mental and physical journey.

All in all, Rico Casazza presents an interesting and versatile EP which combines electro, techno, ambient, funk and pop sounds to a unique piece of art.

The lights flickered in the tall office blocks which overlooked the city - it's funny, some people were attracted to the glitz and glamour of the skyscrapers but for him they felt them to be like vulture preying over the streetwalkers down below. They watched with malice, waiting to suck you up to the high heavens.

As he wandered through the busy streets, headphones on, he was in some kind of melancholy trance. He found himself here often, lost in thought, guided only by the repetition of his footsteps and the magnetic dance which echoed between his ears.

Some day he might escape from this city but for now it was all he had to call home. Some day he might leave.

Alien D is a producer from New York, a key figure in the underground music community. He is set to release a new EP via Budget Cuts - a deep moving downtempo house record which demonstrates great restraint and insight. This one comes from a long lineage of classic house music, meandering between styles with one foot in the present and the other in the past. Highly recommended.

@soft-raw is a new label from @danielle_dj – a natural extension of the Bristol-based DJ’s expansive tastes within contemporary club music. The label's first release comes in the shape of a brand new six-track EP, 'Damage To Be Undone' from @sam-black747.

Across the EP, Slacker's sound matches up to the spirit of Soft Raw balancing fierce kinetic energy with delicacy and finesse and leaving some space for outright ambience.

The next record on @inciensorecs and its first EP for the year is from the London-based producer, DJ, and Wisdom Teeth label co-founder, @facta.

'Emeline' sees Facta working across a variety of tempos and timbres - from the tripping tech grooves of the title-track 'Emeline' and 'Mirage' to the muted chug and serpentine bassline manoeuvres of 'Sick Pup', and the off-kilter rhythm and shimmering piano of 'Felt', Facta presents a range of styles and substance for the dancefloor at any hour, anywhere.

For their second release, @linalerecords digs out two tracks from late '90s Australian production outfit @andyrantzen & Paul McDermott (better known as Itch-E and Scratch-E) alongside Anthony Maher (Sheriff Lindo). 

Teaming up as Boo Boo, Mace & Nutcase, the trio previously only released solely on separate CDs in 1997, now remastered and made available for the first time on vinyl. 'Hejaz' sits on the B-side of 'Digital Rubber', a three-track EP from the Australian trio featuring a brand new rework of the record's title track from fellow Aussie @rudolf-c.
