Usually working within the hard techno genre, Shadym's reduced tempo here manages to maintain all the power of his harder productions within a more cosmic framework. New blood from Mannheim (Germany) for the new EP on Teenage Mutant’s Tragedie imprint!  

Fritz Mayer aka F-Rontal, was born in the 90s developing from an early age an unusual interest in electronic dance music. After performing in clubs all over Germany –since start of 2014- and had a first and unforgettable international experience playing in Spazio900, Rome (Italy) he scrupulously began to develop his skills as a Techno-producer publishing on labels such as Prescribed Trax, Ragnarøk or Sola_mente Records (alongside Deborah De Luca). 

It’s time now for “Shine” on Tragedie, a sumptuous 2-track EP. Both addictive and really euphoric Techno cuts with a cerebral nature thanks to trancy elements and four-on-the-floor beats. Energetic tunes that audibly possessed a palpable mystique!

Drumcode’s youngest rising star, Layton Giordani, exploded on to the scene after his debut album “Where It Begins” back in February, after scoring some of the biggest festivals in Europe this summer, he now returns with an exciting collab titled “Live Again”.

NY born and bred, Danny Tenaglia has always been a true inspiration for Layton since his teenage years, so when the opportunity to collaborate with the fellow NY legend was on the cards, it was a dream come true.

Danny and Layton join forces for the lead track ‘Live Again’. Its deep and dark with a slowly building pad wrapping around a modulating synthetic hook. The dark and effected vocal echo takes the track into a hypnotic vibe.

A blistering buddy to the first instalment of Pig&Dan’s ‘Tunnel Vision’ EP will land in April. 

Not one to rest on their laurels, Pig&Dan have come out firing in 2020. One of the techno genre’s most prolific artists, their 17 year has seen a wealth and consistency of output unmatched by most in the industry. This is exemplified by the ‘Tunnel Vision’ series launched on Drumcode this year.

Set for release just one week after its predecessor, part 2 continues in powerful, peak-time mode. ‘Sirenism’ is a tour de force, driven by a pulsating lead that pops with acidic undertones. ‘Rinse Out The Sound’ is an intoxicating blend of warbled effects, warm synth layers and crisp drum work. ‘Perception’ is marked by an exuberant top line riff and steely percussive layers and makes for a colourful addition to any set. ‘Wasted’ is muscular techno at its finest, finished with a glistening layer of melody. No surprise the collection went down a treat at Warehouse Project, Drumcode Halloween and Dockyard Festival, among others. The duo are in irresistible form.

@secondstateaudio's SUM compilation series is back with more of the pummeling, moody techno you’ve come to expect from @pan-pot's imprint – plus a few surprises.

The V/A is comprised of 12 original tracks including works from Joran van Pool, Magit Cacoon, One Track Brain, Quenum, Risa Taniguchi and of course this premiered track from Secret Cinema.

Dutch veteran Secret Cinema picks up the pace with "Zürich," a deliciously unsettling blend of distorted stabs, tribal arpeggios and an atmosphere that is at once tense and mysterious.
