Panorama Bar resident Paramida has announced her second EP, via her own Love On The Rocks imprint. The ‘Moonrise VII’ EP includes 3 cuts of hands in the air, good time house, F1 tunnel rave and emotional dream house and flaunts her signature take on colourful, trance-inflected visions of the dance floor.

EP opener ‘Sailor Moon House’ merges beautiful, colourful and chaotic energy. An infinity cruise of pure joy, it’s hyper-colour trance clouds break to a shiny new dawn of driving rhythms, acid bass hooks and searching sonar pings. 

"After hours of watching YouTube footage from early 90’s beach raves in Goa, I was inspired to embody this spirit and somehow bring if back,” Paramida says. “I’d spent years telling artists that want to release on LOTR to try and do the same, to soundtrack that moment of ecstasy at 8am as the sun comes, then I realised I should just do it myself. That's essentially why I started making music, to capture that moment and what it means to me. Sailor Moon House is exactly that.”

Last fall when she crossed paths with Function (Dave Sumner), the mutual admiration was instantaneous and they developed a reciprocal appreciation for each other's creative output. Upon hearing the immediacy of her demos, Sumner didn’t just want a 12-inch; he proposed to work on a full-length Identity. The result now serves as solid evidence that she’s intentionally pushing the label forward into new places.

It’s no surprise that Sandwell District championed the album early on — nearly every track showed up in their sets and podcasts, marking Nastia Reigel as a new favorite artist of techno’s most influential collective.
