Widely celebrated as one of the pioneers of techno in India, Arjun Vagale continues to steer the course of the country’s underground electronic movement. Known for his intense, driven and raw sound, Arjun is one of the most prolific artists to come out of Asia.

His productions on labels like Planet Rhythm, Drumcode, Tronic, and his own ODD Recordings and AsymetriK, have had massive global reach. Receiving numerous awards and named one of “Asia’s finest underground music exports,” Arjun is an artist, DJ, producer, live act, label owner, radio show host, and all-round music entrepreneur.

Over his career of 20+ years, he has travelled the world, playing for Awakenings, Boiler Room, DGTL and Sonar. He has risen to the forefront for the quality and depth of his productions and DJ / live sets, while always staying true to his roots.

Portuguese DJ & Producer Holldën will release his first EP with Berlin's Second State on 05.11.

Holldën is a techno DJ and producer from Portugal. He began playing in 2001, inspired by a common love of techno among his friends, the Algarve rave circuit, and regular outings at local clubs, where he studied up close some of the greatest techno acts in the world.

Following a lengthy hiatus from the music scene, he resurfaced in 2016 to found his own imprint Kuiper Noise. Later he designed and hosted The Outpost, a techno radio show aired on Radio Solar FM.

His own releases have been featured on labels such as Second State, Affekt, Sample+Hold, Out-Er, Rhod, TMM, etc, and his music has been remixed by the likes of Temudo, Patrik Skoog, Astronomy Domine, or Fixon.

His release "Kindness Of Killers", reached no. 4 in Junodowload's coveted techno chart. In 2018 he joined Lisbon's notorious techno collective Disturb •

Secret Keywords is a vinyl and digital techno label based in Berlin, founded by Gianmarco Silvetti and Natascia Parisella.

Exploring new sounds is a focus for the project, where new experimental shades of techno have lead to featuring artists such as AWB, Conrad Van Orton, YYYY and Michal Jablonski.

Belarus born, and now Barcelona-based, Alexey Dunchyk is a promising talent who once again impresses with four original cuts on the new 'Thoughtcrime' EP. His back catalogue includes Bas Mooy's Mord sublabel Kazerne, as well as Arnaud Le Texier's Children of Tomorrow, Lewis Fautzi's Faut Section, and Oliver Rosemann's Recorded Things, amongst others.

For this DT:Premiere we selected "Thoughtcrime 1" with a tubular sounding hook and shuffling percussion that create a powerful and interesting analogue atmosphere making it a cool and eerie dance floor cut.

Gaston Zani is a Spanish artist whose latest release is an underground remix that caught our attention with its flashing analogue synth line and hypnotic groove.

For this DT:Premiere we have his rework of “Fono” a solo track originally by Matt Sassari forthcoming on Gaston’s own label we(R)aw.

This really is a masterclass rework of underground techno, building a steady momentum with its dark atmosphere, it ramps up the tension with the help of claps, snare rolls and speaker shaking sub-bass frequencies. Unrelenting, it’s simplicity at its very best, as with the help of subtle modulation and a perfectly engineered structure it unleashes a steady torrent of percussive energy.
