This journey we're about to embark on promises of exciting new sounds and feelings. Cloaked in a dark veil of mystery and intrigue, SLUGGERS have compiled a beautifully illustrated map to the cosmos. The sounds of science, with a techno pulse powers the 3 track release ahead. Beginning where one should, (at the start), 'Particles' introduces a lush and minimal framework which builds to a crescendo, somewhere just before 'Contact'. A hypnotic vocal, and playful percussion give way to an undeniably hype apex half way though the track, and as the resulting contact is made, the 'Horizon' is approached. We don't have a clever enough space analogy that would emphatically, yet poetically scream 'THIS TRACK IS SO HYPE'! But we know we've arrived, right where we're supposed to be. Are you in it for the journey though, or to simply reach the destination? We're enjoying this too much; lets hope the ride never ends...

Little is known about Miami-based SLUGGERS but in almost no time they have landed support from industry top dogs Skrillex, Boys Noize, A-Trak & Diplo. This has lead to SLUGGERS appearances at some of the worlds top festival stages including TomorrowWorld, Ultra Music Festival & EDC Las Vegas. After landing a track in Skrillex's BBC 1 Essential Mix the Slugs were tapped for an EP on OWSLA's Nest to close out 2013. Opening 2014 with an official remix of Diplo's single, 'Revolution' on Mad Decent - the Slugs are picking up right where they left off. Following up the Nest EP with a two song release on Fools Gold's Clubhouse, the Slugs are poised to have a break through year. We're thrilled to deliver this great collection on Main Course!

Detroit duo Ataxia grace Kevin Saunderson’s legendary KMS Records for the first time with a pair of inventive dancefloor cuts on their 'Last Midi On Earth' EP, including a title track that delivers a ravey acid house banger.

Following releases on Visionquest, Play It Say It, Leftroom and Nervous, Ataxia continue to build their catalogue of raw, gritty and infectious dancefloor material. Their latest offering shows off their unique approach, fusing deep acidic riffs with cosmic textures and driving rhythms, as well as revealing motifs that are both soulful and futuristic. If it wasn't already clear, their music is right at home in the rave.
