For its 26th release and first of 2017 East Recordings welcomes back label boss Pablo del Monte with a three-tracker peak time tech-house EP.

2016 was a big year for Pablo with releases on labels like In The Loop, Audiophile Deep, House Grooves, Maison Records and Denied Music, as well as East Recordings establishing itself in the market place in its second year of business.

We’re expecting 2017 to be even bigger.  To kick things of ‘Needing Pleasure’ is a densely layered UK tech-house style track aimed at peak-time big club systems with some hefty sound design and a deep formant vocal topline adding an uplifting moment in an otherwise suitably moody cut.

‘The DJ is my Deacon’ is a much more US tech-house affair and is on a more commercial tip with a highly percussive groove, a celebratory melody and a classic preacher style spoken word vocal topline; all lending well to the kind of track that will work well in Ibiza this summer.

The third track, ‘Bring the Tech Back’, is the most underground with a tough beat, driving sub and dark tech-y sound design coupled with a liberal use of vocal chops including the classic “Bring the funk back” sample and, hence, the word play in the title.

For fans of UK house and tech-house.

PREMIERE : Jesse Bru - Turn You Loose

Parisian DJ and producer @OHES lines up his first release on Behzad Et Amarou Records, the label run by Concrete's resident DJs Behad and Amarou.

The four track 'Metriques Spectrales' EP includes '1987 (Bear Version)', an infectious house anthem complete with intricate percussion, a rolling bassline and shimmering synth tones. Pure dancefloor heat coming out of the French underground!

The 'Metriques Spectrales' EP vinyl release is out January 15 via @bearecords.

Since last year Greenskeepers Legend and longtime AAA member of the Classic clan James Curd focused more on his Chi-House roots doing songs from beginning to end on just an MPC 2000. "I wanted to get back to making fun, simple tracks that work on a dark and dirty Chicago loft party dancefloor." 
'Get Low' for sure is a fun track on the floor and includes vocals from Likasto who is a classic Chicago artist that ran and owned the label Freak Mode (a sub label of Dance Mania Records) with DJ Deeon. 
On the remix duties we have Black Loops and Sonny Fodera. 
Lately James created the theme song for the new T.V. show "The Oath" which is produced by 50 Cent and stars Sean Bean. James is also composing the score to the new film "Into The Ashes" that stars Luke Grimes and Frank Grillo and is directed by Aaron Harvey. 
Oh by the way - his daughter Harper is learning to skate and a new baby girl is on the way. That's it for now folks. Enjoy the record.

There are few artists capable of mixing balearic and deep-house universes, tinged with a touch of jazz. Cosmonection is one of them, and it is not for nothing that Mixmag defined him for his 2nd EP as « one of the fast-rising producers of the moment ».

In just 2 years, he has established himself as one of the spearheads of this new hyperactive French scene by releasing no less than 4 EPs, including two on Pont Neuf, in England on the Jimpster’s label, Delusions of Grandeur, or even in Australia on Beats Of No Nation.

Cosmonection is back in 2020 with Talamanca, a new 4-track EP as festive as it is melancholic. « I decided to work with a lot more organic materials to add more warmth to my sound » he says. « Carnaval » opens this new maxi, with catchy percussions supported by a progressive Rhodes lead. The EP’s eponymous title, « Talamanca » emphases his unconditional love for balearic house sounds, as aerial as they are groovy. « Bailar Contigo » appears as a track designed for piano house atmosphere, modernized by the specific Parisian producer’s touch. It is finally in collaboration with Tour-Maubourg that this EP closes with « La Selva », a deep-house ballad carried by vaporous layers and guitar riffs.
