For the label’s maiden voyage, Palms Trax teams up with South African vocalist Nonku Phiri for the soulful, Afropop-inspired disco groover ‘Petu’.

The hawk-eyed amongst you may recognise the dub version of ‘Petu’ from Palms Trax’s set at The Music Locker as part of Grand Theft Auto Online, but it’s the supercharged remix from Amsterdam-based producer Masalo that gets our pick for the premiere. Enjoy!

Melbourne-based duo Donald's House (@donalds_house) are next up on Nick Höppner’s Touch From A Distance imprint, showcasing their warm, soulful and disco-tinged house sound via their 'Rainbow Gelato' EP. Paying homage to their love of sweet treats, and their mother’s prowess with an ice cream machine, the 'Rainbow Gelato' EP is packed with four tasty tracks. Leading off the EP is the title track, which featuresan irresistibly groovy bassline, cosmic piano hooks, seductive sax and gripping percussion. It's easy to see this one injecting the dancefloor with feel good energy!

The 'Rainbow Gelato' EP is set for release November 15.

Demi Riquísimo returns to his Semi Delicious hand-stamped white label with another four impeccable disco fusion party tracks. Guitar lead ‘Shameless Progression’ follows skittering disco hats across a scape of lasers, a pulsing bassline and Italo synth business. ‘Encona’ is a summery re-edit of a foreign disco classic you'll no doubt recognise (shh..), Demi has added his naughty robotic FM bassline and some proper drum chunk to the mix, a tasteful re-hash right until the end.
