With previous releases on Dirt Crew Recordings, New Kanada and Häws, as well as on London’s X-Kalay, as one half of Cloudsteppers alongside fellow Toronto Producer Ciel, Dan Only is continuing to push the boundaries of his sound.

Dan Only’s Love Saturates EP is a look back into some of his earlier forays into the world of House music, with the original cut of "Love Saturates" having originated back in 2015. The Love Saturates EP sheds light on some of Dan Only's productions that would have otherwise remained part of an already deep vault.

The EP kicks off with the title track “Love Saturates”. It's a blissed-out house cut with shuffled drums, a hard-hitting bassline, lush pads, and a vocal to die for. It gets you up, moving, and working on the mainline to the dancefloor. The melodies wash over you and harken back memories of a packed dancefloor in your favorite intimate setting. 

On the A2, Black Loops (Madhouse/Shall not fade/Toy tonics) steps up on remix duties and turns "Love Saturates" into a seriously deep and spacey remix that works perfectly for late night sets. 

Setting off the B-Side we have "Leading Questions", a snare happy slice of cheeky House music stacked with Dan Only's signature drum programming and keys that just don't stop! A meandering SH101 solo takes you through the entire journey. 

The EP is rounded out with "Not That I Don't Care” - a deep and laidback MPC workout with rolling drums, airy pads, and a haunting vocal.

On September 4th, Peckham-based DJ and producer duo ​Chaos In The CBD ​will announce their ​In Dust We Trust ​UK & Ireland tour, and share a stream of their new track ‘Come Together’, from their upcoming 12” ‘Come Together / Digital Sound’.

The ​In Dust We Trust ​label tour will see the duo playing extended sets on a six-stop tour across the UK & Ireland, with stops at Manchester’s ​Hidden,​ London’s ​Corsica Studios ​and Brighton’s Patterns, ​with support from IDWT label co-founder Jon Sable.

They have also shared their new track ‘Come Together’, a jacking, percussive heavy hitter which features searing synths and a fierce bassline, from their new EP to be released on their IDWT imprint this October.

Louis from ​Chaos In The CBD says: “​Beans, Sable and I had been spitballing the idea of running a label for several years prior to moving to London in 2012. The turning point was getting a tattoo of IDWT on my arm in Paris, which for me meant I had to follow through with the project. After a long period of back and forth and feelings of trepidation leading up to the first release, the label has since gone from strength to strength.

The purpose of IDWT has always been to serve as an outlet to release our own music without being at the mercy of external labels, whilst also retaining full control of the project both musically and aesthetically. Our goal has always been to release timeless music that we will be proud of for decades to come. It’s been a natural progression since conception, and running label nights feels like the next logical step and will allow us to highlight some of our exceptionally talented DJ friends.”

Opener ‘The Power of Poetry’ paves the way for the EP. A fine example of the rich sounds synonymous with DJ Soch, slinky keys marry velvety synths on this nonchalant, italo-influenced number. ‘Underground Night’ maintains the dreamhouse vibe; modest keys and nod to club Tropicana. ‘Peter Pan’ picks up the pace on the B-side but this laid-back, dreamy slice of house is reminiscent of sun soaked adventures. Arriving at the beach bar, dive into warm blissful waves of ‘Round the World’. Shimmery and twinkling until the bittersweet end, ‘Magic Flute’ spins a classic four to the floor formula into candy-floss, chopped up vox glistening over the infectious beat. The perfect sundowner.
