Just Jack specialises in showcasing serious House and Techno in a not-so-serious manner. 8 years of fervent promotion has plotted a remarkable string of parties across a variety of venues in their hometown of Bristol as well as international clubbing meccas, London, Ibiza and Croatia.

Progress has snowballed in recent years and the next logical step has been to assimilate the experience of 8 years of record collecting, pushing boundaries and obliterating dance floors to create an erudite label. Stepping in for the inaugural release is Amsterdam based Beesmunt Soundsystem. With previous releases on Soweso Music and a stack of worldwide performances (both live and as DJs), the auspicious pair deliver ‘The Baby Maker’ EP - an opulent blend of course and forceful drums, sultry vocals and resistlessly effective bass grooves all backed up with a moody and spectral revision from Chicago’s Amir Alexander.

Newcomers Brame & Hamo from Sligo in Ireland have teamed up for the first time ever for this fine deep debut EP. Brame already released on Morris Audio before and had a very successful EP together with Klansee last year. Even more new music is on the way for these guys in 2014 on labels like Drumpoet Community and Saints & Sonnets... so this will be a great year for them for sure and we are once again very happy to give you a first debut release on Dirt Crew!

“Street Urchin” and “Ghetto Lament” are two fine pieces of classics deep house with dark rolling bass lines and soulful chord progressions, the Piano sample in “Ghetto Lament” is a beautiful reference to the golden era of Disco. As a little extra we have none other than Glenn Astro & Imyrmind on the remix, these guys have been putting out some serious dope stuff lately and this remix is no exception... raw underground house music.

The last two tracks on this EP is “Retrospect” on the vinyl and “Fear In Rapture” as digital only track are more straight forward and stripped down stabby groovers with quirky acid lines that work extremely well on the dance floors ... road tested many times already...

Brame & Hamo will definitely make big waves with this release and we are happy to welcome them to the Dirt Crew family.

This release has had a long time to mature and we are very happy that the harvest has finally been reaped. Two driving organic grooves, littered with lush synths and twirling sounds, pure Copycow gold of outstanding quality planted by our very own Timboletti.

As usual, this time we have two absolute experts to take care of the refinement of the harvest. El Mundo boils "Kava" down into a wonderfully dubby reduced soup flavoured with lots of love and plenty of room for mental digressions. @breger's approach is basically similar, but much more radical. The result is a wonderfully twisted trip to the beach with friends. Relaxing, satisfying, the best thing a Sunday or fun day can be.

Secretsundaze step up with their very first production as a duo. Both Giles and James have a catalogue of production work already, Giles as Two Armadillos with the sadly departed Martin Dawson and James alongside partners Marco Antonio Spaventi and Dan Berkson.

Detroit legend Javonntte steps up to supply the second release on the freshly minted Hardmatter with five timeless cuts aptly titled the 'Groove Society' EP, including a title track that's a deep and soulful ballad.

Following releases on Kai Alce's NDATL and Patrice Scott's Sistrum Recordings, Javonntte continues to impress with warm textures and captivating rhythms aimed at the dancefloor. 'Groove Society.....Detroit' showcases his knack for diving deep into late night territory, an aesthetic that greatly suites his distinct sound profile.

At Heist, we’re always on the prowl for exciting new music and we’ve seriously found it in the form of new project ‘Kassian’, the brainchild of Joe Danvers- McCabe (‘Danvers') and Warren Cummings (‘Warren Xclnce’).
