This is the time of the year for being thankful and generous and as we've been spreading the love bug all over our roster of faithful artists, they were all excited about the idea of giving something back to our loyal fans.

“Somehow 'Keep Me Up' came out of me being inspired by Maceo Plex's classic track 'Falling'. Not sure how it all came together from that now, but I smoked some weed, sang some lyrics about what keeps me up and moving, added a little grime, and it all just seemed to come together.“

​Busy P returns to his Ed Banger Records imprint with ‘Genie’, a synth laden collaboration with Mayer Hawthorne that’s accompanied by a dancefloor focused remix by London based producer KDA.

By increasing the energy of the original, KDA delivers a peak-time house track that highlights the vocal hook of Mayer Hawthorne while keeping the soulful essence of Busy P’s original alive.

It’s been two years since Busy P released on his label following ‘Gipsy Life’. The return is a prime example of the former Daft Punk manager’s distinct style. The release also comes with a remix by Hot Chip’s Joe Goddard and an experimental version by Reckonwrong.

Look for Busy P’s ‘Genie (KDA Remix)’ be released March 31.

'Once In A Lifetime' is one of Talking Heads' most adored tracks and the 10-minute edit is a true homage to the timeless cut. Added percussion, elongated vocal segments and more hands-in-the-air moments than ever before, this is a remix that plays on its subtly. 

We've managed to secure a full stream of the extended vocal mix despite the fact it's a vinyl-only cut so you're in for a treat.

It's not trying to make the original better, it's merely showcasing what an incredible piece of source material it is, while making it workable for the club. Bravo we say, keep them coming.

Premiere: KK Editions 'Once In A Lifetime'

Jaymo & Andy George line up their next release on their Moda Black imprint with the ‘Lost Loops & Broken Tape' EP, featuring Marquis Hawkes' shimmering house remix of ‘1968 (The Broken Take)’.

The London duo have been busy with various creative projects recently, including their Lost Village festival, but now have returned to the studio to crank out new material. The ‘Lost Loops & Broken Tape’ EP marks their first solo release since 2012’s ‘Hump & Grind’ and showcases their skill at bringing late night sketches to life using unique samples and field recordings.

Bringing on the Berlin wizard Marquis Hawkes to provide a remix is a brilliant move, as the AUS Music affiliate speeds up the pace of ‘1968 (The Broken Tape)’ with a swinging house beat that also highlights the gleaming synth variations. 

The ‘Lost Loops & Broken Tape’ EP is set for release on April 14.

"Grit" is trademark Revenge (@the-revenge). It initiates with a dusty, looped vocal sample and a filtered disco drum kit, before pulsating synth stabs build their way in. The low end then kicks in, revealing an oh-so-beefy kick drum and putting the jam in full effect with a magnificent groove. It's a track that prospers in it's simplicity and arrangement; the haunting synths cleverly progressing and layering with different chops of the vocal snip. Moreover, it bears the unique, brooding energy that makes Revenge tracks so successful on the dancefloor. This one will surely please fans of the producer's previous work.
