'Velvet Lace Dream State' is an hypnotic acid house banger included on TSHA's fabric compilation 'fabric presents TSHA out 6th May2022. It directs you straight to the dance floor with husky female vocals over rolling 4-4 rhythms on repeat : 'Velvet. Lace. Dream. State'. Ryan Clover is a Brooklyn based DJ/producer, co-founder of label/party series HOMAGE, and resident DJ at House of Yes. Previous releases include the 2021 EPs 'Disrespectful', and 'It's Good To Be Here', with singles 'Mojito' and 'Aperol Schvitz' landing the year before.

Following two radical reinterpretations earlier this summer from Truncate and Yaleesa Hall, which earned plays from Roman Flügel, Laurent Garnier and Ben Sims to Dusky and Huxley; Kamera’s ‘Ventoux’ EP is further expanded with two remixes that tastefully expand the producer’s original vision of uncompromising body music.

Festival and club favourite George FitzGerald is on hand first, delivering a blistering remix of Consignia, one of his personal favourite club records in recent times. Here, FitzGerald continues his masterful streak of production, knowingly blending the somewhat menacing machine throb of the original with a suspenseful bassline, eventually culminating in a heavenly, ethereal breakdown, one that’s certain to leave bigger rooms in throes.

Meanwhile, Throwing Snow’s remix of title track ‘Ventoux’ deconstructs the bright, IDM inspired anthem into something equally frenetic yet utterly different. Punchy live drums begin to escalate over a deeply satisfying electronic snarl, recalling Throwing Snow’s noted fascination with post-rock, while maintaining the tempo with naturally evolving elements of industrial and EBM.

“Jupiter’s moon” presents a fleeting view of different landscapes - claps and hi-hats depict the lights and shadows of a sublunary word. “Untold Places” reaches an otherworldly place where rhythm and metre counteract each other and obscure sounds sway us in and out of reality.
Amsterdam based electronic pioneer Sterac provides two remixes, analysing and repurposing the molecular details of Octual’s productions.
His first rework of ‘Jupiter’s Moon’ provides a stunning and heartfelt view, exploring the intersection of each artist’s approach. For the dub version he reveals a darker sentiment, creating a dancefloor oriented secret weapon.

Tune in to Far Out Radio Systems, who's antenna's may rest on Belgium soil but who's strong signals head in all directions. Station master of Far Out Radio Systems is the Genk based producer Thomas Neyens, who keeps a cinemascope view on electronic music and has previously released on the SoHaSo- label as Kiani & His Legion.

This EP shows some of his many perks. There are Holden-like modulair waves on Theme For The Lockdown, beautiful intricate Isan-esque melodies on Imagine The Sun and Sykotine Storm and a straight four-four kick on the disco driven Skies.

Opening track On Boolean Plans is something else entirely. It relives the time when amen breaks were flooding the streets of London. But Neyens brings things up to par with these pandemic times by including a beautiful melancholic string.

Far Out Radio Systems truly lives up to it's name. Strong vibes in every direction.
