Lost & Found deliver the long-awaited, highly anticipated remix package for Khen's 'One Day Of Independence' LP this week. It's a stacked line-up on the release with label boss Guy J himself, Lehar, Luca Bachetti, Termoment and rising star Patrice Baumel all turning in their own takes on cuts from the album. Baumel, who's seized major attention with releases on the likes of Kompakt and Anjunadeep over the last year, provides a sleek, smooth, synth-laden roller for the occasion, taking the original track up a notch in intensity. We're very excited to present the remix in full premiere today :)

In the words of the Amsterdam-based producer himself, Baumel explained "I consider Khen one of the most promising new artists in electronic dance music and was blown away by his album. The beauty of “Land of Goshen” lies in his melodic arrangement. I wanted the remix to respect the original and just gave it the club treatment it needed to beam people into outer space.”

@pouch-envy, the promiscuous alter ego of Per Pintaric, draws influences from 90s jungle and techno, Baltimore club, ballroom sounds and their eerie, personal dreamscape.
Pouch Envy’s club tracks strive to bend the idea of genre and leave much to the listener’s imagination and interpretation. Per’s alter ego allows him to engage with his lived experiences in a more mysterious way and dig through unexplored sides of himself. By experimenting with quick changes in BPMs, melodic ideas and genre, their production and mixes relate to the same sensibilities as Gen Z—fast-paced, undefined and suitable for the diminished attention span that digital life has brought to the younger generations. Pouch Envy made his debut at Bossa Nova Civic Club this year and has since been producing throughout the quarantine. Per’s production has spanned from experimental hip-hop and shoegaze rock to classical movie scores, though his alter ego finds himself deep within the dance realm.

The release is accompanied by three remixes from Barcelona based producers: @antidronesquad(who have recently released their debut EP 'Pax Digitalis' on Sin Hilo), @4ire (with releases on Glacial Industries) and @top74.

This comes as our most sensitive podket to date. Pietog pieced together a string of ambient sounds and spoken words that create a little breathing space much needed for this endless waves of ever extending lockdowns.

"I made this mix as a way of articulating a personal catharsis.  a window between the universe and i captures both a process of mourning and queer remembrance. I dedicate it to SOPHIE. 
Compiled during the middle of the third lockdown at home in Dublin, these ethereal sounds invite a temporary release of the pressure valve of both personal and collective anxiety, a momentary suspension of reality.    My hope is that the ambient nature of the mix can offer a space for calm and reflection, perhaps even an invocation for optimism. 
A hymn for future hope.  
The recommended listening setting is in bed and under the covers.
Eyes closed, still dreaming.  <3"
