Following the great success of Detroit Swindle's "Boxed Out" Album we present you the second single take out. Their collaboration with Mayer Hawthorne on “64 Ways" already gained massive support from DJ's and radio stations around the globe in the past weeks and we're proud to present you this remix pack with none other than Kerri Chandler, Kraak & Smaak and Detroit Swindle's remix of Detroit Swindle (Inception anyone?).

It's an honor to have one of the godfathers of House: Kerri Chandler on remix duties. He has been a great supporter of the guys over the past years, often showing off his piano skill over "Guess What" and generally supporting a lot of The Swindlers tunes. He turned the original version of "64 Ways" in a true Kerri "Kaoz" Chandler tune with the use of his trademark key progressions and drums. Don't miss out on the instrumental if vocals aren't really your thing.

The second remix is done by the guys themselves and oh boy what a monster tune it is! Stripped down to just a few basics from the original, adding a lovely filtered key loop, they made a deep dance floor burner in true Swindle style: "swing, drop, and everything else".

As a final to this fine remix pack we asked fellow Dutch house heads Kraak & Smaak to return the favor on the remix tip after Detroit Swindle remixed their track "The future is yours" with Ben Westbeech. They came up with a full on Disco House stomper, with a bass line that will stick with you for the rest of the day and an irresistible disco feel.

Since emerging last year, Nachtbraker (Maurits Verwoerd) has been cultivating his laid back, funky house sound with his last four releases on various labels including Hudd Trax and Detroit Swindle's Heist Recordings. Verwoerd now returns to his roots by presenting his next opus, the Backstabber EP, on Dirt Crew Recordings – the imprint that also homed his very first release back in September of last year.

Our top pick and first up on the flip is "Time is of the Essence", with a slow-developing, intrinsic funk that we have now learned to expect and love in Nachtbraker's music. The track's unbounded energy and embedded groove is anchored by its speaker-rattling bass line, making it an ultimate choice for any dancefloor.

Nachtbraker's Backstabber EP drops on vinyl (27 Nov), and digitally (30 Nov).

​Busy P returns to his Ed Banger Records imprint with ‘Genie’, a synth laden collaboration with Mayer Hawthorne that’s accompanied by a dancefloor focused remix by London based producer KDA.

By increasing the energy of the original, KDA delivers a peak-time house track that highlights the vocal hook of Mayer Hawthorne while keeping the soulful essence of Busy P’s original alive.

It’s been two years since Busy P released on his label following ‘Gipsy Life’. The return is a prime example of the former Daft Punk manager’s distinct style. The release also comes with a remix by Hot Chip’s Joe Goddard and an experimental version by Reckonwrong.

Look for Busy P’s ‘Genie (KDA Remix)’ be released March 31.

Having been a guest DJ at City Fly’s label night last year and with another DJ appearance scheduled later this year, it was only a matter of time before fellow kindred spirit Medlar contributed to a City Fly release. Having burst on to the scene last year with every discernible DJ’s favourite ‘Terrell’ on Wolf Recordings, 2012 has proved to be a hive of activity for Medlar with further contributions to Wolf, a release on Kolour Recordings under his Klic alias plus a plethora of remixes including a killer remix of Steffi’s ‘Yours’ and more recently remixing Steven-J’s Creative Swing Alliance on Tsuba – not to mention a jet-set DJ schedule... On to the record and with ‘Groove Your World’ Medlar’s remix is one of his typical idiosyncratic interpretations with an in-vogue garage vibe flexing with bouncy bass, killer keys and shuffling rhythm bubblin’ over into an effervescent bomb – strictly for the dancefloor...
