Cherished London rave enchantresses LUXE & Angel D'lite reveal their first ever joint EP release ‘Enchanted’ on transcendental record label GODDEZZ. The long-time bezzies conjure up two luxurious dance productions 'Cloud 69' & 'Dance Enchantress'; complimented by reciprocal remixes of each other's tracks as well as a full party bag of remixes from close friends Baraka, FAFF, Local Group and Mabel.

This radiant and multi-layered EP release offers an array of rave stylings that will bewitch and enchant the listener. Oscillating between pulsating progressive house, skippy UKG rhythms, mesmerizing breaks and the ethereal allure of synthetic sounds. The 'Enchanted' EP perfectly blends the two gifted producers' complimentary styles into a sumptuous cocktail of party flavours that are guaranteed to deliver a sugar rush leaving you craving more.

The fun doesn't stop there, with the fast-rising French duo Baraka offering up a smouldering remix of Angel's 'Cloud 69' that sounds like it's straight out of a perfume ad from 1999. London party-starters FAFF then turn up the heat with their UK-Funky infused, infectious club flip of LUXE's 'Dance Enchantress'. Lauded club favourites Local Group step up next with a tear-out speed garage remix of 'Cloud 69' that is guaranteed to send dancefloors into a frenzy. Step Ball Chain & Nehza affiliate Mabel rounds out proceedings in style with a chunky and rolling prog re-imagining of 'Dance Enchantress'.

Over the past few years, Angel D’lite and LUXE have meticulously carved out their own distinct spaces within the scene. Baraka has always been synonymous with "lucky star". And it is true that you can find some of that in this duo. In 2020, as the world prepared to go into lockdown, Cristofeu (DJ and producer) and sa+ga (DJ, singer, poet, author) got together to compose a series of tracks featuring poetic vocals, acid sounds and synthetic layers. You can feel the influence of trance, trip-hop, drum'n'bass and artists such as Prodigy, Massive Attack, and even Björk. But it is on stage that Baraka's music really comes into its own. Capable of transforming a concert hall into a dancefloor or building up a club’s energy to the level of a punk show, the duo electrifies every venue they play at: from the Berghain/Panorama Bar (Berlin) to the Trabendo (Paris), from Positive Education festival (Saint-Étienne) to Boiler Room. At this rate, the duo's lucky star is unlikely to fade away any time soon.

Hydro Synthesis, it’s chunky kick anchors the rhythm, allowing us to vacate down the depths of this sonic exploration. Then, just like that, we hear those eerily familiar drawn-out vocals, perhaps the haunting echoes from the sirens calling us to deeper waters…
