21 year-old Dutch producer Luuk van Dijk returns with his third release on @roush-label entitled “Seduction”. The former Kunstbende DJ-contest winner possesses an “old soul” being able to blend nostalgic styles and sounds with contemporary elements, showing his versatility as a DJ and a producer. This hypnotic, freewheeling release from Luuk embodies tech house in its purest form. The added synth element gives a cerebral feeling and is accompanied by pulsating kicks that at the same time make you “rock your body,” literally.

New York’s David Berrie joins Jamie Jones’ Hottrax with four groove-led house cuts this September. 

The American producer debuted on Nervous Records in 2011 before following up with multiple releases on Monique Musique. His productions have received support from the likes of Marco Carola, Carl Cox, Seth Troxler, and The Martinez Brothers, not to mention Jamie Jones who invites Berrie to release on Hottrax to follow up releases by Cera Alba, Christian Burkhardt, Nathan Barato and Jones himself. 

Skipping percussion, crystalline synths and a meandering bassline form ‘A.D.D.’ before moving onto ‘Hands To Pants’, with its purring low-end and twisted effects. ‘Playing In Space’ is dark and moody from the off thanks to cosmic stabs, sci-fi inspired melodies and dub echoes until ‘Personal Opinion’ concludes matters with bouncy bass and echoing drums as a medley of esoteric elements generate a warped vibe throughout.

Flexing some major bouncy tech house business is Jairo Delli in his two track 'Dance EP', joined by veteran Javi Bora on an absolute monster of a remix. Fun, upbeat, and with a ton of groove, the title track 'Dance' gets you right into a dancing mood with a buoyant bass line that pumps just as hard as hyped up vocal triggers. 'Groovy Duby' says it all in the name, but what sticks out most about this one is the massive breakbeat that absolutely drops the boom, in a dark, echoey environment before diving right back into the house rhythms. Providing something a little different, Javi Bora maintains the bassline in his remix of 'Groovy Duby', but transforming the drums into a hard jackin' beat with vocal edits reminiscent of DJ Tonka. Solid from front to back, Jairo Delli and Javi Bora definitely provide the goods this Summer.
