For the 40th release on All Centre, label co-head Simkin provides three new cuts on his second record of the year, Entity.

Beatless ambient opener Sinks In eases us in with whirring field recordings, glitched choral vocals and sublime pads, immediately setting the atmosphere for the record. Throughout, later elements of the EP are teased amongst disorentating sound design and soaring chords.

The end of the track leads directly into low-tempo stormer Entity. Alien-sounding vocals give way to a heavy, low-slung drum pattern before a dubbed-out transition introduces the track’s bone-rattling bassline. Later, the arrangement eventually breaks back down amongst glitchy arpeggiated synths, before further ramping up the intensity with the reintroduction of booming subs, punctuated by a rising air raid siren.

Finally, Click! lifts the tempo, landing in an upbeat, electro-inspired groove. Short snippets of vocals are teased amongst understated pads before a low, gliding bassline propels us forward. Angelic, autotuned vocals and chopped and rearranged amongst echoing chords and soaring lead synths, the elements weaving amongst each other as the track progresses.

Entity is available across all platforms on the 5th of August.

@soft-raw is a new label from @danielle_dj – a natural extension of the Bristol-based DJ’s expansive tastes within contemporary club music. The label's first release comes in the shape of a brand new six-track EP, 'Damage To Be Undone' from @sam-black747.

Across the EP, Slacker's sound matches up to the spirit of Soft Raw balancing fierce kinetic energy with delicacy and finesse and leaving some space for outright ambience.

Egregore Collective is closing this year of releases by crossing the Atlantic with Seattle-based producer Fleksor, long time contributor to the 320 RIP compilation series, with past releases on Main Course Records, Snø Recordings and Knightwerk to name a few.

Inspired both by the frenetic hybridations of 2010’s club music, and the highly curated psychedelia of Seattle’s all-night techno parties, he delivers an assortment of club-ready syncopated bangers across multiple tempos, with a heavy emphasis on textured sound design.

Rounding off the release is a hefty drum'n'bass remix of the title track by our very own Yaxx.

yet is a slippery word in English. Amorphous, these three letters in different contexts can define contrast or emphasis, set a place in time, show an expectation that something will occur or, paradoxically, that it is likely to stop.

It is this mercurial nature that makes yet the perfect title for the latest @tresor compilation: the label follows on from the more explorative sections of 2021’s landmark Tresor 30 boxed set with a compilation, featuring 13 artists making music that resists easy definition.

Track 12 comes from @solid_blake, whose track 'Hexaghost' is a hefty, broken beat track of experimental techno, with Tresor the perfect landing spot for the Copenhagen-based producer's sonic palette.
