Die Electro Swing Elite, kurz ESE, startete im Sommer 2013 den ersten Teil der B2B DJ-Mix-Reihe und kurz darauf folgte auch schon der Elite-Mix Volume 2. Gemixt werden Tracks aus dem Genre Electro Swing, die jeweils von mehreren selektierten und renommierten DJ’s, mit internationalem Format, zu einem gesamten Set fusioniert werden, soweit das Konzept. Die bisherigen Erfolge können sich sehen und hören lassen, so Phos Toni, Organisator, selbst DJ und Vater der ESE-Mixe. Teil der ESE Serie haben sich Phos Toni und Wolfgang Lohr zusammen getan und als Grundlage für den DJ-Mix eine Compilation mit ausschließlich exklusiven Tracks, nur für den Sampler produziert, zusammengestellt. Mit Ton liebt Klang (Hamburg) hat sich schnell ein attraktives Label gefunden, welches die Compilation sowohl Digital, als auch auf Vinyl veröffentlichen wird. 18 exklusive Electro Swing Tracks sind das Resultat, von Künstlern die auch in anderen Genres sehr erfolgreich sind. For this next release, Life and Death brings Dutch techno hero Steve Rachmad into the fold for a little fable of consumerism gone sideways. 

In a shopping mall of singing machines a revolution is brewing. Where instead of you going shopping for them, the machines slowly rise up, collect themselves together and decide to go shopping for you. In Parallel Shopping we can hear the sounds of the machines organizing themselves out of their slumber as they slowly begin their bizarre free market march to gather their forces and prepare to stock up on you. 

Flipping over to the next side the story continues with Out In The Open (edit). Their plans having been revealed to the masses, the machines have no other option but to launch a full scale attack. Under the cover of night the machines rally their forces as soft synths sing their rhetoric into the night while the crash of metal and booming basses foreshadow the likely winner of this sortie..

Markus Homm joins Hive Audio. Originally hailing from Romania and now based in Germany the new addition to our roster has defo left a mark on the scene over the course of more than a decade with  releases put on the circuit via prolific labels like Highgrade Records, Ostwind, 8bit, Bedrock, Poker Flat Recordings and many more. With his label debut named „My Lead EP“ the ever active producer is presenting a new serving of three fresh tracks accompanied by a remix crafted by Dario D'Attis, all carefully prepared for massive dancefloor impact.

The title track „My Lead“ represents the value of Markus Homm's production skills to the fullest, starting out on a fever'ish late night vibe that's transformed and levelled up to pumping, uplifting territories by distinct hi-hats and a multilayered synth motif slowly injecting more and more joyful dancefloor ecstasy into ever heaving crowds. Excellent stuff on the brink between raw House and TechHouse.

On remix duties for „My Lead“ is our man Dario D'Attis who's adding a well muscular pump and highly seductive groove to the vibe of the original tune whilst scintillating atmospheres, additional percussions and a slightly dubbed out feel steer the track straight to the peak of every high quality House set for a reason.

With „EXO“ we see Markus Homm presenting a perfectly sculpted take on contemporary TechHouse, bringing forth a warm, all embracing low end figure alongside a spatial, and potentially space themed, overall feel as a foundation for cascading pads and shimmering melodies of a beauteous, timeless, yet fully hypnotic and fascinating nature alongside microcut vocal samples.

Finally the concluding cut „Discovery“ brings forth more of Markus Homm's trademark groove works paired with classic soft, slightly dubby and yet well distinguishable stabs sitting atop a thought out percussion arrangement leaving enough room for rising, large scale string waves and intricate melodic powerplay that's about to make every punter smile brightly whenever this tune comes on.
