Nights are coming and going and faces appear and vanish, great plans are made and rarely held up to. While that is the mode that keeps the machine running, from time to time something greater can evolve out this fast paced spare time profession. That is to say, it is a great pleasure to smooth the way for our dear friend »Kleintierschaukel« and his »Blue Elephant«.

A rare species whose origins are found in »Motomia« (A1), that odd place where sticky clocks tick faster than time passes. Still all confusion is lost in the calm whispering of Juliette (A2), a harmony of strange confidence. Despite all its apparent harmlessness, it needs the soothing voice of our all beloved Leonie to let its vast figure withdraw to the rivers and show the gentle nature of this »Unterwassermann« (B1). Back in his element all notches are smoothed out and movements unite in a rythmic flow. This is not a documentary, this is the Blue Elephant: »TV Ende« (B2).

All echoisms aside: We are very happy to have Mr. »Valentin Stip« from Montreal himself contribute his interpretation of »Motomia« (D), a delicate dissection, reunited to a greater interaction of the most gentle kind.

Carried on intermeshing percussions, the title track rambles ahead with a warm flow through the flourishing garden. The "creative traveler from the Caucasus' mountains", Viken Arman, has announced the release of his upcoming 'Willow' EP - set for release via his Denature Records imprint. 

A full year after releasing his 'Aragatz' EP, the new record is a five-track journey that borrows from both jazz and electronic music culture to create "powerful musical dialogue" that bridges the two genres and leads Viken on a colorful sonic tour of self-discovery.

Identifying as Parisian and Armenian, musician and producer, Viken draws from a theme of "perception" that emanates throughout the EP and the stunning artwork - created by the Armenian painter Davit Yukhanyan - brings his dazzling, jazz-infused electronica sound into the forefront with an air of mystic exploration that goes beyond dance music.

The project has been divided into six parts. Each track has been given a poetic emotional perspective and piece of original artwork that is linked to show listeners that "the way we see ourselves is not only the way we live our lives but also the way we relate to others."

This funky fusion expresses itself in three original tracks. "Toledo" - the first single of the EP - gives a thrilling intro to the EP. This one is sure to cause a ruckus on the dance floor.
