We dive into our fourth Exclusive Mix of the year with Against All Ødds, the artistic persona of David Mimram, a visionary producer/DJ from Israel, on a mission to redefine melodic techno and indie melodic soundscapes. David started exploring his musical talent already at the age of 12, producing world wide underground hits at 16.

In 2013. David moved in NYC and thrived in the city's vibrant club scene, securing residencies at Sky Room and Pink Elephant and also performing at legendary clubs like Cielo, Pacha, and Space New York. The third EP from Get Physical's Croatia-focused compilation features tracks from Ana Antonova, Marina Karamarko and Evren Ulusoy and Tome R.

The track that premieres on Mixmag Adria is from Turkey’s Evren Ulusoy who has topped Beatport's Deep House charts and released prolifically on a wide range of labels, and Tome R, a young, upcoming DJ and producer from Croatia. Their ''Erotic Fresco'' is a superbly smooth and seductive house track with wavy chords and drums all sinking you into a reverie as the heavenly vocals drift up top.

Conceptual Black and Dobar House associate Ana Antonova has always explored a plethora of genres and has long been an ambassador of Croatia’s electronic scene. Her "Misunderstanding" is built on a bubbling rhythm that rolls like a pan of boiling water. It's a brilliantly warm and dynamic track with subtle synth work drawing you into its humid jungle-like atmosphere.

Marina Karamarko is another rising star of the Croatian scene who releases on TNAHQ and is on a mission to "leave you with a full heart before going home." Her remix of 'Tamo' by Andrea Ljekaj brings alluring darkness and driving tech house to the EP. Finger clicks and off-grid hits, wonky snares and cymbals all bring looseness to the industrial mood of the groove. Andrea Ljekaj is, of course, one of the driving forces behind Get Physical’s Croatia series and will be once again
compiling the upcoming EPs.

These are four essential new artists who are now all set for big things on the international stage having made their mark at home in Croatia.

Mixmag Adria premieres the title track of the Out Of Place's ninth release signed by one of Greece's most promising talents, Annē. She welcomes you in her distorted, yet fairytale world rounded with hefty vocal stabs and tripped out cosmic ranges delivered in a modern techno trademark.

Annē started her career back in 2012, this promising artist is somewhat of a new wave from Thessaloniki’s rich electronic music culture. Annē is an official artist of Non Aesthetics Agency & resident artist on the project SINS. Ranging from a blend of dark landscapes and powerful bass lines to pumping sounds, she already shared the decks with names like Alien Rain, Somewhen, Insolate, Keith Carnal, Axel Karakasis, JudaΣ and Mr.M. Most notably she made an appearance at Reworks Festival as well as FiftyFifty Lab Festival and was dubbed as the best disk Jockey in Greece for 2019 by Athens Voice Mag. 

In a minimalistic form, Fairy Dust is a vocal rush marked with a numerous chop spinning around a solid techno rhythmic and subtle percussive synth atmosphere. Panning does the trick here since the lyrics are driven back and forth through the sound system inviting you for some forbidden fruits.

In the studio or behind the decks, this young artist and Canticle Records owner is drawn to hypnotic harmonies and feels nested in mental and spiral overtones of the techno genre, showcasing it pretty much on all four ''Imperial EP'' tracks.
