Born In Mexico presenta TÁNDEM una nueva línea de lanzamientos donde publicaremos el trabajo original de dos artistas mexicanos, además los EPs estarán acompañados por dos artistas remixeando alguna de la versiones originales. 

Para inaugurar la serie tenemos el gusto de presentar el trabajo original de dos grandes de la electrónica nacional, Pepe Mogt y Ramón Amezcua, integrantes de Nortec Collective. En el lado de los remixes están Paulor y Zombies In Miami. 

El track que da inicio al EP es “Plastic Beach” de Pepe Mogt, un track enérgico, melancólico e hipnótico compuesto por una batería sólida, una línea de bajo arrolladora, sintetizadores profundos y un vocoder fantasmal. En el lado de los remixes está el trabajo que hicieron a “Plastic Beach” los hidrocálidos Zombies In Miami, un track más enfocado a la pista de baile, 6 minutos de subidas y bajadas llevadas al límite con una baterìa retumbante y un arpegio eléctrico, cálido y deslumbrante.

Maintaining continuity throughout, there’s a bubbling arpeggio, set perfectly beneath a plethora of intergalactic effects that stab at the soundscape, engaging the listener at all times. There's plenty of layers here, as HEVI LEVI succeeds in merging the darker elements of Techno with the danceability and mainstream appeal of House music. Enchanting and melodious, the breakdowns feature the most memorable moments, as we are reminded of the original songs famous vocal sample and trademark trance lead, before it detonates into an impactful drop. It's anthemic, and best suited for massive rigs and open spaces, although you’re sure to be transported there when listening to it at home.

Italian melodic techno marvel Erly Tepshi unveiled a thrilling remix of alt pop sensation Nastiya Kai’s single ‘Demons’ on October 25th 2024, via Nastiya Kai Music. The remix premiered on prominent tastemaker House Music With Love’s SoundCloud page and has received support from Mixmag Italy. As a highly revered DJ and producer, Erly Tepshi has crafted a remarkably illustrious career that started at just 15-years-old. With over 2 million Spotify streams on his single ‘Mesmerize’ and a further 1 million for his remix of ‘Orbital Hypnosis’, as well as support from DJ Mag Italia, Mixmag Asia and When We Dip, he’s a force within the electronic music arena.
