Mixmastermelonhead is an electronic music and hiphop producer and live performer who creates underground dance music in a range of styles, including techno, house, future bass, electro, and trap.

Melonhead grew up in Hong Kong and the US before moving to Barcelona.

He now spends much of his time in Studio47Fz at Dar Carmela, a 500-year old house in the ancient medina of Fez, Morocco. His solo work overlaps with Ketama 47, a project he founded to create Darija House, an emerging dance music genre that integrates hiphop and trap vocals in Moroccan Arabic with electronic dance music subgenres.

His productions have generated interest in as varied outposts as The Underground Collective (hardcore techno) in Berlin, who released the first Darija House track outside of Morocco, a genre MMMH helped pioneer.
