Marcello Marotta was only fifteen years old when he decided his path in life was going to be music.
So, while boys his age were spending their time playing soccer, he was moving his first steps into the radio industry. In 1990, he got his first important opportunity: he was called to work at the Radio KissKiss radio network. His participation, behind the radio station direction controls, will last many years, and he will tour among the major radio networks in the country, such as RTL 102,5, Radio 105, RAi and many others. In the same period of time, his gigs around the best clubs grew exponentially, and he realized the first discographic productions in house music style. In 1999, a lot of time has passed since he was just a beginner in the world of music, and now, what was only a passion of youth, has entirely become his bread and butter.

This is a true Rave Anthem from the 90's. Rolls effortlessly into the synth then onto a piano melody.  
The "Party Time!" sample comes from the 'J.R. Funk & The Love Machine - Feel Good Party Time. 
A disco hit from the 1980s.
Strike has sampled this in their well known chart hit from 1994 'You Sure Do'.

Phill delivers his distinctive sound across four original tracks, blending quirky, melancholic house grooves with warm textures and subtle emotion — a guaranteed, head-bopping listening experience that works just as well on the dancefloor as it does at home.

Rounding out the EP is a remix from French house legend Olivier Romero, who reimagines the lead track Somewhere Far Away with a fresh, raw edge, driven by a sleazy, rolling bassline ready to cause havoc on the dancefloor and cement the release as a must-have for selectors.

Available for download here is an unofficial remix I have done of one of my all-time favourite tunes from the start of the 90s . This track totally takes me back to the early rave /  free party scene in the UK when I had just started DJing and was still going to school !! Mental Cube being Future Sound of London under a different name , this was released around the same time as  Papua New Guinea , and is equally as important a record in my opinion ! Staying true to the original and just boosting it up to make it suitable for today's dancefloor , I hope you like what you hear and thanks for listening :)
