Naicet sounds like „nice set“ and has caused some confusion and funny situations by the dance floor. But it is her actual name. Being half Mexican and half German the name comes from the language of the Maya, meaning „dreaming next to …“. In contrast to that, her sound isn’t quite dreamy but can rather be described as drifty, dark but melodic. Originating from Hip Hop and RnB, Naicet discovered a fast growing passion for electronic music in her early twenties in Berlin and found her way behind the decks in 2020 beneath the Mystic Creatures event series. Her energetic sets have reached several German clubs and festivals but also international stages.

@Naicet and I are still amazed by the experience of our first time playing at Kater Blau. It is one of Berlin’s greatest clubs and we share many blissful memories made there. That’s why we felt very honored to play our second b2b ever there. Thank you Mystic Creatures for making it possible!

this time I want to share with you the set I played at @bucht-der-traeumer Festival 2022. It was on Saturday, 20th of August at the Schlupfloch stage and I played from 12.45 to 3.00 pm. I didn't expect many people to be there as this isn't quite my time to party on a festival.. So I was veeery happy to see so many happy faces of friends and strangers and I have to say: we had a really good time together! Thank you for your energy, the positive feedback and all your support!!

▌I What’s your history with music in general and DJ-ing especially?
Music has always been a central element in my life since as far back as I can remember, I always loved and enjoyed singing and dancing a lot. When doing this I came to experience a unique state of flow and this has never changed. Originating from Hip Hop and RnB I discovered a fast growing passion for electronic music in my early twenties in Berlin's clubs and found my way behind the decks in 2020. Being able to share the music I love with an audience makes me very happy and is truly self-fulfilling to me.

▌II Which tracks marks a highlight in your set?
The first track! I love it's powerful energy as an opening track. I've listened to it so many times and it still makes me feel the same way.

▌III How would you describe your style?
Progressive House and Techno, melodic and bouncy with an Indie Dance influence.
