The song is a unbiased look on Love. Of course our first thought is the song is about falling in love with a person, yet it is so much more than that.  People can love many things, objects, drugs, places, events, ect... Love can mean different things to people. I personally think love for another person can INDUCE feelings for a place or object, such as a lake where you first went swimming, or an old car your folks might've had when you were growing up. An object I have loved for long time are polaroid pictures. I'm 25 but I'm old school like that.
