We've got a digital delight from Standon Calling 2010 for you... Anyone who's seen us live knows that interaction with the audience is an important factor in our shows. Unfortunately this doesn't relate to the recording of the show. Instead you're left wondering what those gaps in Kids In America would have sounded like if you were in the middle of a concrete cowshed with 500 other Standon Calling goers watching the Mixnots  tear up the party...

Well, as luck would have it in addition to recording the audio of the set we also had our roving reporter The Loxville on video duties capturing the crowd live and direct for the Mixnots media machine. A little splice here, a little splice there and we now have the audience audio at one with the mix - taking away our woes and filling in our woahs! If you think our participatory remix of Kim Wilde is good, wait until the finale - the crossover's a bit bumpy but it's well worth it - not often you can finish a DJ set with the crowd singing louder than the music!
