One of my all-time favourite 80s tracks - the beautiful Shannon.
This is actually the first time I heard the vocals properly, the original track is a little clumsily engineered. Crockett does a much better job, it's like these tracks were made for each other.

The original is great but I had he acapella lying around in my Hydeout (Nujabes) collection and tried it with this funky synthwave track and it makes it sound quite kinetic. Added a flange to the chorus.

Adding to the many reworks of one of the Wu Tang's most beloved tracks using an instrumental from Bit Funk & Jason Gaffner's album 'Retrowave Instrumentals Vol. 1'

Note on the acapella - for some reason ALL the versions of the acapella has a word cut out (just before the two minute mark) - I can't figure out what word it is from the original track. So anyway, I cut the word 'life' and placed it in the gap, sounds a bit weird but it's better than the gap. Also there was no chorus - so the chorus is actually taken from two sources, one a YouTube video and another I can't remember. They were isolated from the original vocal track so needed some treatment but still sounded pretty rough. I got around this by using the both - one in each of the stereo channels which made it sound more interesting.
