A sweet and sensual mix from London-based DJ Henderson which if you know Henderson personally, it's quintessentially them.  

Co-founder of Organics, a party and mix series based in London and Bristol, Henderson has always had a deep connection with music. Their background in classical and contemporary dance lead to their love of dance music with it being intrinsically linked with their love of movement. The dancefloor for them is a space for self expression, creativity and freedom and as a DJ, their goal is to be a catalyst for these things; for the dancers on the floor to feel that euphoric release so tied to dancing at the rave. Through their dance training, Henderson has been hosting a queer dance class, Shapeshifterz, in London and is also part of the welfare collective Safe Only. Henderson also runs two radio shows on Threads and Netil Radio, has previously played at the likes of Creekside Festival, Dalston Superstore, The Glove That Fits, Corsica Studios, and Electrowerks. 

Speaking about the mix, HENDERSON says, "For my untitled 909 mix I really wanted to put together a selection of tracks that make me feel sexy. For me clubs have the power to release emotion and discover parts of yourself that you never knew existed. A lot of sexual liberation happens on dance floors, so the inspiration for this mix is somewhat of an ode to those experiences. As I gro-w and have a deeper understanding of the music I love, I find the sets that excite me the most are ones that take you on a journey through multiple emotions. ‘Serious’ dance music should always be accompanied with just as many elements of campiness, fun & euphoria in order to achieve this. There’s nothing more beautiful than seeing a group of friends hugging or someone crying on the dance floor - and that is always a goal of mine when I play."

Untitled 909 Podcast 169: Henderson

As a selector, Kali ’s musical style fluctuates around trance-infused house,
high-speed techno stirred up with breaks and electro.
She started her journey as a DJ at queer parties in Budapest in 2013. She soon gained experience in organizing events, while she explored different venues with various party series, always striving to create a safe space for LGBTQI+ people in Budapest. Her mission has always been to reinforce the representation of queer people and womxn in the electronic music scene.

She was part of the technosexual party collective of OMOH ( @omohbp ) and since 2019 she’s a member of Persephone ( @persephoneparty ) a
Budapest-based queer feminist collaboration dedicated to showcase artists.

In the past years Kali had the chance to show her fast-forward style to the
audience in various venues and festivals. After playing in several clubs in
Budapest (Toldi, Lärm, Arzenal, Edith, Gólya, Easy) during the summer of 2023 she stepped on the magical stages of Daad, Ozora and Sziget festival. She had her debut abroad when she played at the Lecken-OMOH-Persephone party in Kake, Berlin right before the pandemic in 2019. She had the honor to heat up the dancefloor before JakoJako in Munich’s Harry Klein Club in 2022. And she was lucky enough to return to Zürich’s FLINTA parties organized by GLITBAQ, and also brought her positive energy to Innsbruck’s Arche Ahoi club in 2023.

@tamarawrx3 is a Berlin-based producer and DJ known for her love of both heartbreaking and uplifting sounds. In her productions and mixes she always tries to create an adventurous journey that takes the listener through different genres and moods: sometimes heavy and sometimes soft, sometimes breaky and sometimes ravey. .･.･:☆

Together with @multifun and @mutate_, @tamarawrx3 is also co-founder of @mltmx-records, a label and party series that has just released its first VA. tamarawrx3 also contributed to this release with an emotional dnb track "You, all the time". Listen and enjoy the journey! ♡( ◡‿◡ )

This wide and interesting musical spectrum makes the audience take part in a high bpms musical journey.

Born in the suburbs of Detroit, @batmandel is a DJ who navigates music with fluidity, jumping the boundaries between genres to create contemporary and eclectic sets. Constantly seeking  excitement through driving rhythms, clashing breaks and colorful melodies. Bat always gets the audience to move with her through her musical selection
@bruxz2000 sound goes through broken rhythms, influenced by styles like New Beat and Dark Wave. On the dancefloor he creates an eclectic sound that brings Beakbeat, Acid passing through Trance and 90's Techno, always wrapped in a groove atmosphere.
Putting Bat and Distort on the decks together is a certain way to set fire to the dancefloor. Their sets are a hybrid of genres, moving seamlessly through styles that will leave you begging for more

Given the tossed-off origins of the term “trip-hop”—“hip-hop in a flotation tank,” Mixmag’s Andy Pemberton called it in the 1994 article where he coined the term; “mood muzak for the blunted ’n’ paranoid,” Melody Maker’s Simon Reynolds offered a few months later—the animating idea has proven remarkably resilient. Take a boom-bap beat, paint on a dusky bassline or pitched-down sample, drape it all in echo, turn down the dimmer switch. Usually—not always, but much of the time—there’ll be a singer involved, typically a woman. Sometimes it’s a voice that sounds like lust incarnate; sometimes like your own thoughts tossing beneath a weighted blanket of the heaviest doubt.

Psybuzz is back at Netil with a special guest 2h takeover from Sommé Farris (@sommefarris), who's been making an incredible impact on the London scene with their Phact, RAMA and Alef Sound projects.

 The sonic compositions in Sommé's unconventional, visceral cross-genre Mixes nod to their photographic background, focusing on the relationship between patterns, Spaces, and energy. Although working with various sounds, their compositions naturally follow their affection for the groove, the percussion, and the sensual. Upon moving to London, they returned to music by exploring their Syrian and Iraqi roots, specializing in SWANA Electronic Music. At the same time, as part of London's queer underground scene, they were drawn to the energy of techno, leading to their current search of mastering it.

“Clubfoot” on A1 — precision disguised as ease.
