"LOG" is a project by Miyauchi Yuri to create music at his own pace, leaving fragments of music with environmental sounds of the day and place whenever he feels like it. On his official website (miyauchiyuri.com), He upload demo versions made on the same day (or sometimes later). I think I will mainly record and produce music in Chiba, Japan, where I live, but He will also try to do it in various places such as expeditions and travel destinations.

New LOG

This is the 3rd in the "Instruments" series of experimental works focusing on the sounds of musical instruments. This time, I experimented with old vibraphone sounds and processed them in various ways to see how far I could go in musical expression. This project is a kind of training to increase the number of ideas while enjoying the production.

The Beta Series is an experimental work that, while complete, retains an openness—as if still evolving. Created entirely through an approach based on re-sampling, different from my usual methods of composition. The artwork was made by sculptor Yusuke Tsuchiya.

The new album was released digitally on January 28, 2022. It contains 12 songs. I couldn't make it well for a long time, but after endlessly trying this and that, I managed to finish it. Maybe I wanted to make this kind of music when I was younger. The artwork was done by Yusuke Tsuchiya, a sculptor who is also my friend and lives in the next town.

This EP is an experiment to see what possibilities can be created with just the sounds coming from one instrument. For this EP, I used an upright piano for five tracks. For the live piano recordings, we used the piano in a tea room called "Ito" in Inzai City, Chiba Prefecture.

Composer/Musician. Born in 1983. Based in Chiba, Japan. He made his CD debut with Rallye Label in 2006. He has released seven albums. The latest work is "Instruments 3" (2025). He specializes in organic electronic music that interweaves instrumental performance and programming.​ His live performances include improvised multi-recordings. In recent years, he has been performing mainly in the form of background music at various places such as bookstores, museums, and libraries throughout Japan.​ In addition to his own activities, he has composed music for films such as “Misaki no Mayoiga" (Director: Shinya Kawatsura, CV: Mana Ashida, etc., Original Story: Sachiko Kashiwaba), "Little Forest" (Director: Junichi Mori, Cast: Ai Hashimoto, etc., Original Story: Daisuke Igarashi), as well as for NHK E-television's "Aokiiro" ,"Q - Philosophy for Children," as well as for TV programs, dramas, commercials, and BGM for stores.​ He is also active in the music project "BGM LAB." with KENJI KIHARA.​
