2k9 battle jam

After 40 hours spent on this project, Manny Heffley finally finished it. This is the longest and easily the hardest Manny Heffley worked on a track. The intention of this song is to be used in geometry dash for a solo top 10 extreme demon that Many will be making. The theme follows a theoretical question: "If I continue down the path I am currently on, where will I end up?". Obviously this is very vague, and it is that way intentionally. Manny wants the interpretation of this song/level to be made by experiencing them both at once. He is also crafting a poem to go along with the level; that should give more clues as to what he is feeling, what he is thinking, and overall the message behind the level.



As for the song itself, He tried getting some feedback, and most of it was negative. He believe the mix is good enough, but some people were not a fan of the second buildup/drop. Ironically, that is his favorite part of the song. If he had learned anything about creativity, or just art in general, it is that it's best to finish work and release it to the public, regardless of the negative opinions someone else might have on the matter. Is he bummed that someone with more experience than myself disliked this? Yes. But it's time for him to let go and just push through with what he is doing. Manny thinks most people would benefit from this mindset.

Hey there! Another month, another 3 tracks.
This one's an electro/trance hybrid, 160 BPM (which I think is a nice tempo for osu!)
With this song, I wanted to both challenge seasoned players, as well as provide a fun and simple melody for newcomers to play - and I think I did a good job!

Third and final track of this month's osu! music Halloween bundle.
Back to a somewhat fast-paced 140BPM Tech Dance track, heavily inspired by a lot of retro sounds, which I still managed to sound somewhat eerie somehow.  I wanted to create the feeling of a pursuit, or being chased by something strange.
Since there's a lot of variety on this one, I'm not sure what to expect from the maps to come from this - but I'm excited! 
It was a lot of fun to make, but gave me a bunch of trouble.
