Behind The Mask

I Would, is a short poem that touches on the difficulties of being in a long distance relationship. Yet, with the difficulties there are always hopes of a reunion on the horizon.

I Would

This recording is a few years old. It's one of a small many that can be found on my Reverbnation page that I haven't used in just as many years as this has been recorded.

I came up with the music as one of my first ever songs I tried making. I never was able to put lyrics to it. There's an earlier recording done with two electrics (myself and a friend). That's a poor recording but is also on the RN site. I always liked this acoustic and simplified version though.

It's a little rough around the edges, so sorry about that. But I hope you like seeing a little more "musical" recordings from me here on my Soundcloud page. Don't worry. I didn't upload one with my vocals. I won't subject you to that unless you wanted to stalk over to my Reverbnation page. I'll leave that up to you ;)

Robert has been writing poetry since the eleventh grade. His writing started as impulsive rambling, but soon became a passion. A few years later he attended SUNY Potsdam where he received a B.A. in Creative Writing.

His main focus is poetry, but at times you can find him dabbling in short fiction. Robert has also created the blog A Life Among The Pages, where he posts his writing as well as book reviews.

When he's not reading or writing, Robert enjoys spending time with his dog, Deuc. Deuc ran out of the woods in August 2011 and they have been inseparable ever since.
