At the end of our Apprenticeship program in 2019, we had a marathon ceremony to sing the whole book from beginning to end. It was an incredible experience that took 37 hours and many cups...

Condor Record’s Dreamscape project is the first in a number of collaborations between Michael Folkert and Sixto Gonzales, a native Ecuadorian specializing in the traditional sounds of South American guitar and pan flutes. The album was recorded in the Andes Mountains in Ecuador and “Mystic Rain” is the culminating track that wraps up Dreamscape’s mystic South American journey. “Mystic Rain” is a dreamy mix of flutes, guitars and percussion that was inspired by an afternoon walk the through a mountain region in Ecuador. 
“Moving through the forest everything was so crisp and clear - the rain, the rushing streams, a Condor flying overhead, the lush vegetation, the smell of a campfire in the distance. In that moment I was surrounded by the music of Mystic Rain.” - Michael Folkert
